Description: It is a wide tree having large umbrella shaped crown. Branches are velvety. Leaf is pinnate and is made of 6to16 leaflets. Each leaflet shapes like a diamond. Inflorescence is axillary head. Heads in racemes. Calyx is funnel shaped and toothed. Corolla is red or yellowish red in colour. Stamens are with white and red colours around 15 to 25 flowers per head. Ovary is sessile and glaborous. Fruit is a legume and leathery.
Phenology: March- April
Uses: Used to treat cold, diarrohea, headache, stomach ache.
