1113 Corporal Erector Vehicle with Missile

October 1959 - 1962

A large khaki model of the transporter for the huge missile. This had some intricate gearing which enabled the missile to be stood vertically and lowered on to its launching platform.

Also available in GS9.

1118 International Army 6x6 Truck

May 1959 - 1964

Available with British or Dutch insignia front and rear, or none. A US export edition has a star usually on the bonnet (but maybe on the doors) and on the canopy (not indented). It has no insignia. The US model illustrated here has a canopy that has an indent so that is not correct. I will replace this as soon as I can find the correct canopy.

I have also seen what I presume is the UK model, having no star(s), but without insignia.

There are also two types of chassis. One is filled in more than the other, the difference appearing predominantly solid as oppose to see-through. I don't know which is the earlier but believe both to be used for 1118.

There is also some variation in where silver paint was applied. usually it is just to one pair of headlamps and side lights but painted radiator grilles may be found.

1133 International US Army 6x6 Truck

January 1965 - 1966

This was marked with US Army decals  along the side of the bonnet with a star in an indent on the canopy. These usually had stars on the doors but not the bonnet.

Although the Chipperfields Circus versions get suspension on later editions, 1133s appear not to have this on either type of chassis.

1134 US Army Bedford Fuel Tanker

January 1965 - 1966

The US army version of the Mobilgas Tanker. It is understood that late editions may also have been issued with the later style of Bedford cab with suspension. However as cabs could easily be swapped with the Heavy Equipment Transporter it is difficult to know for sure.

The cab and tanker had fixed shaped wheels.

1135 Bedford Carrimore US Army Heavy Equipment Transporter

January 1965 - 1966

Available with lemon or red interior. It is the 1131 model in khaki and a star on the roof.
