December 1964 - 1966
The normal Minivan has a plain bodycolour grille with straight lines
It always has shaped free spinning wheels and has a red interior with no hatching effect on the internal screen (which is present on the Police version)
The base may have MINI-VAN or MINI VAN. The Police version also may have COUNTRYMAN but this #450 model I have not yet seen with that base.
There are three variations in the type of grille, As well as the normal one there is a silver painted grille and also a 'Countryman' style grille as can be found on the 485 Austin Countryman model.
There also seem to be some distinct shades - from the fairly bright pale green to a more grey-green shade although I believe the latter shade is the result of prolonged exposure to sunlight.
An interesting variation has closed side windows and no divider inside. This arises with the Austin Countryman window unit being fitted in error.
