1112 Corporal Guided Missile on Launching Ramp

June 1959 - 1961 (1112)

October 1959 - 1962 (1113)

October 1960 - 1961 (1124)

An impressively big JPL Firestone Corporal Missile, always in white with red rubber (or now plastic replacement) nose-cone and red paint to sides of flight vanes.

Early editions had a simple nose-cone. Later editions had a different type which included a metal section into which caps could be included to make an explosive noise when set off. This element could be bought separately so it may have been fitted to early editions too by owners. Replacement cones, however, do not easily cater for this device and original ones will have dissolved or perished by now.

The Missile was available with the ramp as 1112 and with an Erector Vehicle as 1113. It was also available in GS9.

The ramp was available individually as 1124 for a short period only, one of Corgi's shortest known production periods.
