Can I send items abroad?

Yes. About half of my customers live outside the UK.

Even Russia?

No. Not now. 

What happens if something goes missing?

All parcels are sent with Royal Mail's tracked services and most will require a signature. They are also insured so if it doesn't arrive you can get a full refund and I can buy some new stock.

What happens if you don't like a model when it arrives?

If you don't want it then you can send it back and I will arrange a full refund of the purchase price.

If this is because the item is not as described or has become damaged in transit then I will also refund your return postage costs. Basically I want happy customers so I will always try to find a satisfactory solution to any problem.

Why are some items really expensive?

The usual reason is that they are really rare. If there is a similar model for sale at a substantially lower price then I may well buy it! For one or two models, it may be that I am just reluctant to part company with them as I have had for many years or they are particularly special for some reason.

Are the models all original?

Yes, unless I have said differently in the description. Some may have replacement aerials, transfers or tyres, for example. Models that have been repaired more substantially and/or repainted are never sold intentionally as original and will be in a separate category I call the Black List.

Can I supply spare parts?

Yes, it can be cheaper for me to get one or two parts as part of a larger order but if you need a lot then I can put you in touch with recommended suppliers.

Some of the photos have model buildings in the background. What brand are they built with?

BAYKO. I use a large set that I have had since the 1960s.

Where is Bozeat?

About half-way between Oxford and Cambridge.

Do I have a shop here?

No. I am just a collector really, selling models either to replace them with better examples or to buy some that are still on my Wanted List.

Do I buy collections?

Usually no. I haven't got enough money to do that. I can value them and advise on the best way to sell a collection, depending on the quality of items and how quickly you need the money. What I can do is include them in my stock and sell them for you, nearly always getting much higher prices than at an auction although sales may take time. I do have collector and investor colleagues who might consider buying a complete collection, however, and I can make enquiries about that option too where I think they might be interested.

What's the idea of the cartoon image and car registration?

I am a big fan of the 1960s TV series The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan as No.6.
