Standard Vanguard

207 and 207M Standard Vanguard III

February 1957 - 1959 (207M)

February 1957 - 1962 (207)

The 207 was red over a very pale green and the 207M a cream-yellow shade.

The 207 is rare with shaped wheels (type II) and these versions have just the roof painted red.

It can be found with a black or grey base of the solid type, with a 'differential'. The grey base can be found on some 207 type 1 models and all the type 2 editions. Not yet seen on a 207M.

352 Standard Vanguard RAF Staff Car

October 1958 - 1962

207 with RAF blue and roundels with a code on transfers back and front.

The model can be found with either a black or grey base.

All models appear to have smooth fixed wheels.

Quite a variety of bases for this model! For the 207 there may be text 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' between the front wheels or just a blank. For the 207M the PATENT PENDING can be between the front wheels or either side of CORGI TOYS.
The 207 may also have a grey base with the text between the front wheels as shown above.
