233 Heinkel Trojan 'Economy Car'

January 1962 - 1972

Better known to many of us as a 'Bubble Car'! This was issued in January 1962 and, strangely, was one of Corgi's longest-lasting models remaining unchanged apart from different types of wheel, through to the 1970s.

It was produced in 6 main colours:

• deep red

• orange-red

• pale lilac

• deep lilac

• orange

• metallic dark blue

• metallic peacock blue

All started with fixed smooth wheels and later editions in orange had free-spinning cast wheels. Neither fixed shaped wheels or free-spinning shaped wheels appear to have been fitted to these models.
