Ingredients:
- 40-60 ml Olive oil
- 75 g Onion, chopped fine
- 500 g Tomatoes, chopped fine
- 15 g Basil, chopped fine
- 1 clove Garlic
- Fresh pasta
- To taste Salt and pepper
Procedure
- Heat the olive oil in a large saucepot. Add the garlic and onions. Sauté lightly for a few minutes. Do not let them brown. Add the tomatoes and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the basil. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes until reduced and thickened. Taste and adjust seasonings.
- Place a portion of fresh pasta on a serving dish and serve sauce over pasta.
