Ingredients
2 medium potatoes
Salt to taste
½ to 1 cup cooking oil for frying
240 ml tomato sauce
7.5 ml mustard
½ tsp hot sauce
½ tsp sweet Spanish paprika
Toothpick for serving
Procedure:
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 1/3 inch to ½ inch chunks having nice bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle with salt.
- Pour oil in wide, deep frying pan place over medium high heat until hot.
- Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes. Set aside to drain.
- Using a pan, put 1 – 2 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium heat.
- Pour tomato sauce into the pan and “sauté” it for 5 minutes.
- Turn the heat down and add mustard while stirring.
- Add hot sauce and paprika and mix well. Add salt to taste.
- Place the potatoes on a plate. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and serve warm with toothpicks.
