Ingredients
2 medium to large salad tomato
6 pcs. fresh basil leaves
100g fresh mozzarella cheese
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
½ Tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
- Wash the salad tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain and place it in a colander to air dry. Use salad spinner, if available.
- Slice the tomato in approximately ¼ inch thick slices. Do the same for the mozzarella.
- Alternate layers between the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil on the platter. Do this repeatedly until the desired plating.
- To prepare the dressing, place the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt in a screwtop jar. Shake it well and place it in a sauceboat.
- Drizzle the dressing in the salad and season with pepper to taste.
