Description: Shrubs; young parts appressed-reddish hairy, glabrescent with age. Leaves alternate, elliptic-oblong, acute at base, obtuse to rounded at apex with an acute tip, 3-5 x 1-2 cm. Flowers 1-2 cm across, in terminal racemes, inflorescences overtopped by 2 lateral branches. Calyx lobes ovate, rounded or subacute at apex, sometimes recurved. Petals unequal, clawed, yellow; limbs 3-angled, entire. Fruits globose, brown.
