Description: Herbaceous shrub, 45 - 60cm height. Leaves lance-shaped, dark green with attractive silver-grey blotches. White spadix with greenish-white spathe. Fleshy berries, maturing from green to orange to red.

Flowering and Fruiting: Throughout the year

Uses: Roots are used as tonic and as anti-helminthic. Decoction of root is drink to treat fever and dropsy. Houseplant for bright to moderately bright areas
