Description: Evergreen shrub, able to grow to 1 - 2 m tall. Foliage-Leaves lanceolate in shaped, opposite arrangement, wavy margins, measuring about 7 - 10 cm long, light green with patches of cream on the top and maroon underneath. Leaves are alternate, oblong, acuminate, up to 15 centimeters long and 5 centimeters wide, bright green above and crimson red below. Flowers are small and greenish.

Uses: The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine.
