Description: Ornamental shrub, attaining up to 2 m tall; stems white-brown, developing stems are green; leaves alternate, lanceolate, margin entire, mid-veins yellow, apex acute, base acute, lamina 15-24 x 4-9 cm, symmetrical, green-yellow patches of coloration, petiole 2.5-4 cm long, 0.2-0.3 cm diameter, petiole apex bent; inflorescence axillary, racemes, panicle; bracts reduced; male inflorescence up to 25 cm long, peduncle 0.2 cm diameter; male flower ca. 0.7 cm diameter, whitish-yellow, pedicel ca. 1.3 cm; calyx 5, ca. 0.3 cm long, white, membranous; corolla 5, ca. 0.1 cm long, white, membranous; stamens many, up to 44, yellow, ca. 0.35 cm long, filament 0.27 cm long, female inflorescence up to 23 cm long, panicle, peduncle 0.2 cm diameter; female flowers ca. 1.2 cm long, pedicel ca. 0.5 cm long, style 3, ca. 0.4 cm long, connate at the base, ovary ca. 0.3 x 0.2 cm, ovate.
