Sheringham was our September holiday. Last year we went to Suffolk, and it was so nice that it only took two hours to get home! Not very adventurous maybe, but it just seems so much easier.
After we arrived in our holiday house we decided to walk down to the sea, and as we did a jeep full of American soldiers whizzed past us - then another, and another. The windows of the shops were all taped up... we realised it was a 1940s Weekend. There was dancing in the streets - they were very good - I think it might have been the Lambeth walk or the London Stroll.
We pottered up and down the coast - Blakeney, Pensthorpe, Blicking Hall and Binham Priory. Also Oxborough on the way back.
