We started in Boston and walked the Freedom Trail, which was very good. We saw the balcony where the Declaration of Independence was read out in Boston. Where did it all go wrong?
Then we visited our Glasgow friends Paul and Valerie in Paxton. From there we drove around chasing the best leaves, and ended up seeing Al Stewart in Fairfield. (He did “The Roads To Moscow”! Wonderful. Good old Al)
We flew to Chicago and went the the Chicago Art Institute and also wandered around the city. And photographed one of the many Chicago cabbages!
