In April, we went up to stay in Longthwaite, in the Lakes, to celebrate Kate’s brother’s 60th birthday. How young!
His big birthday present (which he spookily predicted in a dream), was an inflatable canoe, named as ‘Adventure’.

After the celebrations were over we went to stay in Sue and Andy’s house in Broughton-in-Furness, unfortunately not with Sue and Andy. The house was lovely though and we had several delightful walks (obviously not too strenuous as befits our ageing limbs).
