In October we organised a last minute week's holiday in Norfolk. We picked a place pretty well at random but it turned out to be a lovely house. It was near a wildlife park, and our mornings were sometimes enlivened by the sounds of enthusiastic gibbons whoping to each other. We walked along a lovely quiet beach at Sea Palling, revisited Happisburgh, investigated several old flint churches (there are quite a lot in Norfolk), wandered around nature reserves and drove into Norwich where we saw the Natural History Museum's Diplodocus in the cathedral. All very low key but a welcome break.Â
The weather wasn't always sunny...
...but the sofas were comfy.
