We never visit as many people as we want to. It’s just sheer disorganisation and inefficiency! Arrgh!
But we got to see David and Shirley in Sheffield, and also Pam, and Dave and Clare and Kathy, and Phil and Katie. Loads more we missed ... sorry.
David took us down the historic Rivelin valley in Sheffield, Pam took us to Chatsworth (always a treat) and Dave and Clare treated us to fireworks.
On 5th November we gathered at Dave and Clare’s in Hampshire, with Kathy, to let off some fireworks! Very exciting! The Catherine Wheels were much better than the ones I remembered from my youth. We also went on a torchlit parade - and felt like a rebellious mob.... (we had to resist torching the Audis).
