We did quite a few things which don’t seem to fit in the other categories - hence the ‘miscellaneous’.
The disruption of our lives and brains by the building of our new extension seems a distant memory, hopefully not so distant that we’ll ever be tempted to go through the experience again.
We went to the ‘Great Gathering’ at York Railway Museum, where the remaining six A4 locomotives like Mallard were collected together. Wonderful!
We also went to Kate’s uncle and aunt's Golden Wedding celebration at Knebworth. A good time was had by all, and John bought some wooden organ pipes! (Well why not?)
And then some random pictures... a wonderful field of poppies near to Cambridge, and lots of nice walks.
And of course Mystery Train and The Mad Professors keep rolling on...
Then a rare treat: Karl’s sister Liz brought us his fiddle to look after. A real honour. Thanks Liz.
