Step 1: Choose Practice and Review (10 min) Based on your school’s chosen Transparent Teacher Practice, review the resource that corresponds to the Transparent Teacher Practice that your school will be implementing. If you’d like to annotate the resource while you read, there is open note-taking space in the note-taking template.
Step 2: Reflect (10 min) On your own, reflect on your school’s Transparent Teacher Practice. Write any questions you may have about the practice. Consider the following questions:
Does this practice allow for the opportunity to grow as a teacher? Why or why not?
Does this practice make sense for you and your team or some teachers/grade levels at your school?
What are the barriers for implementing this practice?
How would this practice be accepted and/or accomplished at your school?
What more would you like to know about this practice?
(Optional) Step 3: Repeat (20 min) Repeat steps 1 and 2 if you are interested in reviewing another Transparent Teacher Practice. Reviewing another Transparent Teacher Practice does not necessarily mean that your team will need to implement a second (or third, or fourth) Transparent Teacher Practice at this time, this is for your own learning.
Step 1: Choose Practice and Review (10 min) As a group, and based on your school’s chosen Transparent Teacher Practice, review the resource that corresponds to the Transparent Teacher Practice that your school will be implementing. If you’d like to annotate the resource while you read, there is open note-taking space in the note-taking template.
Step 2: Team Share (20 min) Go ‘Round the Horn with your team (take turns responding) and discuss the following questions:
What are the benefits of implementing collaborative reflection with other teachers at your school?
Have you started implementing this practice at your school?
What barriers might make this practice difficult for your team/school?
How would this practice be accepted and/or accomplished within your team/at your school?
What more would you like to know about this practice?

Step 1: Review Sample Agenda (10 min) Take some time to read through some of the agendas from this Collaborative Teacher Team at a participating A2A school.
Step 2: Reflection (5 min) After reviewing the agendas, reflect on the questions below and record your notes in the open note-taking space within your note-taking template.
How does this team incorporate Transparent Teacher Practices to encourage instructional reflection?
What specific questions or structures help this team hold space for reflection?
Step 1: Reflect (10 min) Using the reflection template that best speaks to you, take some time to process what might help you (and your team, if applicable), implement Transparent Teacher Practices. See the sample templates below:
Individual: Complete a personal goal worksheet
Individual or group: Adapt a CTT agenda to incorporate these practices into weekly CTT meetings
Group: Create an action plan to implement one next step for bringing TTPs to life
Step 2: Upload (5 min) In the link to the Google form in the note-taking space (or in the Google form at the end of the module in the Learning Space), upload your call to action document.
