Rationale: Assessment to Achievement is designed to cascade levels of support through Collaborative Teacher Teams, School Transformation Teams, Administrative Transformation Teams, and the state-level team (including the USBE and Ed Direction). With a collaborative system in place, the practices from the A2A Project can become a durable part of every participating school and lead to lasting improvement. Charter and district leaders succeed in this project when they are deliberate about planning, prioritizing, and troubleshooting A2A’s ideas and systems. This way, leaders bring well-laid plans to life and address the inevitable obstacles that come with improving practices.
Learning Intention: Teams will develop an understanding of the role that teaming plays within Assessment to Achievement.
