Rationale: Research suggests that the same strategy implemented effectively at one school can have up to five times the impact on student learning as it can at another school where implementation is more superficial. Considering that implementation is where so many initiatives fall short, it is vital that we have clear, feasible implementation plans with defined tasks, owners, and deadlines.
Learning Intention: Teams will develop actionable and goal-driven implementation plans for the next two months of school and will determine how to utilize implementation data and site visit coaching to support academic language acquisition for their multilingual learners
Success Criteria: Teams will know they’re successful when they…
have developed goals aligned to each of the three project objectives (data use, collaboration, and evidence-based instruction) and linked to their Theory of Change
have detailed implementation plans with tasks, owners, and deadlines
have determined how they will utilize site visit coaching to support their implementation efforts
