Rationale: A primary role of the School Transformation Team is supporting teachers in the implementation of new strategies selected to impact teaching and learning. In order to understand what supports teacher teams need, the School Transformation Team must collect and review data. To do this effectively, School Transformation Teams must devote time to gathering data throughout every stage of implementation of evidence-based instructional strategies so that they can know whether teachers are implementing the strategy as intended; if the strategy is having the desired impact on student learning; and how they can best support teachers in ongoing implementation.
Learning Intention: Participants will explore different methods for collecting implementation data from classroom teachers, engage in a deliberate practice activity in which the teams will analyze implementation data to identify actions to take to improve instructional practice, and then make a plan for collecting implementation data on Teacher Clarity.
