The fall season has finally arrived, the air is getting cooler, the leaves are changing, and along with it, are our wardrobes. But what to wear? Where to shop? How and where do I find style inspiration? Here’s some local fashion from your own Central students and staff to bring inspiration to your seasonal wardrobe for this fall!

Allison Hobson, Senior

Where do you get your clothes? “Goodwill”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “Pinterest”

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “My leather jacket and baggy men's jeans.”

Sierra Smith, Sophomore

Where do you get your clothes from? “Usually Forever 21, Amazon, and Ragstock,” Smith says.

Where do you get your inspiration from? “Pinterest, but, I also grab things in my closet and pair them together.”

What’s a main staple in your fall wardrobe? “My brown oversized sweater,” Smith says, “I try to style it with anything I can.”

Where did you get your clothes? “Online mostly, and TJ Maxx.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “Typically off of color,” Mrs. Smith states, “I go off of fall colors, burnt orange, forest green, and blacks.”

What’s a staple in your fall wardrobe? “Comfy sweaters and boots.”

Abigail (Abi) Avrutin, Freshman

Where do you get your clothes? “Pacsun, Brandy [Melville], and Hollister.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “Pinterest, mainly.”

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “Sweaters”

Nora Condill, Freshman

Where did you get your clothes? “H&M and Converse.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “Pinterest and today’s outfit is inspired by Clueless, with the plaid,” Condill says, referencing the 1995 film, infamous for its many iconic fashion looks.

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “Any kinds of camis or tiny tops. I can't live without them.”

Where’s the ring from? “An antique shop in Indiana.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “My girlfriend, Lauren.”

Where do you get your clothes? “Target”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “Pinterest”

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “Sweaters, cardigans specifically.”

Evelyn O'Brien, Freshman

Where do you get your clothes? “My pants from Urban Outfitters and shirt from Kohls,” O’Brien says. “I frequently get clothes from Target and online.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “I like to look at Pinterest and Tiktoks that pop up on my ‘For You’ page, mainly hippie stuff.”

What’s a staple in your fall wardrobe? “Some sort of flared pants or a jacket.”

Kelsey Diaz, Freshman

Where do you get your clothes? “My shirt’s from H&M, sweater from Target, and Converse from Shoe Carnival,” Diaz says. “And pants from Forever 21. I mainly get my clothes from the mall and online.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “I like Pinterest, it's a good app. I also like getting ‘inspo’ from visual Kei bands,” (A type of genre from Japanese rock), “Also Mama Sama.”

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “I really like cargo pants, the corduroy ones.”

Jordan Rinkenberger, Freshman

Where do you get your clothes? “H&M is the main place,” Rinkenberger states. “Goodwill, thrift stores, and Ragstock.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “I see what I like and try to put them together. I have basics, like jeans or tops, and try to fit them together.”

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “ My Dr. Martens.”

Kelecia Maynor, Sophomore

Where do you get your clothes? “Forever 21, H&M, and I thrift sometimes.”

Where do you get your inspiration from? “I just put stuff together, or I just sprinkle some of myself into an outfit I see online.”

What's a staple in your fall wardrobe? “Flannels.”
