The Controversial Name of Trisha Paytas’ Baby

Trisha Paytas, a 34-year-old influencer gave birth to a baby girl on September 14th with the name ‘Malibu Barbie.’ This name has sparked major controversy and rumors in the media.

Trisha Paytas is an influencer who originally gained fame on Youtube and is mostly recognized for the jokes made about her. Not only is she a Youtuber, but she is also an actor, music artist, and influencer on other platforms.

She recently gave birth to a baby girl named Malibu Barbie with her husband, Moses Hacmon. Before Malibu was even born twitter users joked that Trisha Paytas’ baby would be Queen Elizabeth (who died September 8th) reincarnated. Even Jojo Siwa joined in on the jokes.

Trisha Paytas addressed these rumors with a TikTok saying, “Storytime: I did NOT rebirth the Queen of England. It is September 9th, 2022, and I am still very much pregnant.” Even after Trisha addressed these rumors the jokes and rumors still went on. “LIZZIE WE KNOW YOURE IN THERE”, one Twitter user wrote.

While Trisha and her family are enjoying their time with the baby, the majority of the world has mixed opinions about the baby’s name. “Leave it to Trish to give her a horrible name. She’s a baby not a doll,” one Twitter user wrote. “Controversial opinion but I love Trisha Paytas’ baby’s name… Malibu Barbie is so cute,” another wrote.

The students of Central High have interesting and mixed opinions about the topic as well. “I heard about the news on TikTok and Twitter”, says Bella Ondevilla, a Freshman student at Central High. “I felt good for her, because I know she’s had issues with having a baby with all her cosmetic surgery.”

Alice Bell, a freshman student at Central High shares this about Malibu's name, “I think it's pretty on brand for Trisha, honestly. The name is outrageous and I would never name my kid that.” Alice also mentions how she thought the rumors were funny. “I thought it was funny honestly. I also thought it was funny how outrageous she thought the rumors were considering she named her baby ‘Malibu Barbie’”

Whatever the opinions may be, the sometimes-controversial influencer seems to be happy. And while Malibu Barbie was not born at the same time as the Queen, Malibu certainly made a grand entrance into this world with an extra grand name.
