There is nothing I love more than peanut butter, oats, and chocolate. So, it will come as no surprise that monster cookies are my all-time favorite cookie. That's why I decided to try and make my own. However, baking is frequently a challenge for me. In the past, I have forgotten to take blondies out of the oven, to put water in oatmeal, and to add chocolate chips in chocolate chip cookies. As I began these cookies, I didn’t have high expectations.
Yet, this time, my baking endeavors panned out better than they had before. I not only remembered all of the ingredients but successfully created my very own batch of monster cookies. Additionally, I found the extra-especially-fun M and Ms at the store to bring a slight Valentine’s Day addition to my cookies.
The day after I baked them I shared them with some of Central’s students. Senior Clare Smith said that it was a “very good cookie” and rated it a 9/10. Anna Roessler, a senior, also rated the cookies a 9/10 and said, “the cookies were very good.” Freshman Cesca Smith gave them a 10/10 and said that “the cookies were so good.” Senior Alexa Sutton also gave my cookies a perfect score and said, “it was so good.”
