This month, as I was deciding what to cook, I stumbled upon a recipe for confetti cookies. When I was younger, I used to love Funfetti cake, but I had never had it in cookie form. So, I decided to try out the recipe. The recipe I used was from Broma Bakery. Here is the link to the recipe I used: https://bromabakery.com/funfetti-cookies/.
I started out by creaming together the butter and sugar. After that, I added in my eggs and vanilla and mixed it all together. By this point, the batter was pretty light, so I added in my dry ingredients to thicken it up. I then scooped it out by the tablespoon and placed them on my baking sheet. After I had finished baking them, I gave them to some of Central’s students to get their opinion.
Anna Roessler, a senior at Central, says that they were, “very good” and freshman Cesca Smith said that they were, “the best ones yet.” Mariclare O’Gorman of the Mariclare Bakes column said that they were “so good.” All in all, these cookies were a total success: they were cute, yummy, and easy to make.
