Collage

The assignment for this project was to create 2 colleges out of paper and whatever things we could find that represent us and show who we are through them. After we completed our colleges we scanned them, and turned them into a negative so that we could make prints of them in the dark room. After we made prints of them in the dark room we took the scans of them and used Photoshop to colorize them in whatever creative way we wanted to. I made two different color options because I liked them both and wanted to display both on my Google Sites page. During the Photoshop process of this assignment went through a lot of trial and error and changing my mind I even started over entirely when I was about halfway done because I didn't like how it looked and I wanted to make sure that it looked good and looked the way I wanted it to end up looking for this assignment. Overall I think I totally succeeded with the assignment, I love my original colleges, and my prints in the darkroom came out great. The first college print I made in the darkroom came out perfectly the first time, but for the second college print I made in the darkroom I actually made 4 prints of, it before I got it perfect. I wouldn't do anything differently if I were to do this project again, I think that each of my final products is great but I definitely did go through much trial and error throught the process.
