Photoshop Digital Editing App

The main idea that got in my artwork was to use Photoshop to turn a photo I took into a digitally painted image. I think that this project really displayed to me that when you look at an image you don't immediately see every nuanced individual specific color.  I think that my art piece really shows how many different colors and shades there are in an image that maybe isn't always recognized.

This work was made entirely by using the Photoshop editing app. The tools within Photoshop that I mostly used were The eyedropper tool,  brush tool,  paint bucket tool, and the blur tool here and there.

Before the idea I evidently went with I had had two previous ideas. I started my project using an image of myself and my friend Rihanna, but I found it super tricky to do because it was a relatively blurry image. My second idea which I also started before the one I stuck with, was a  photo I had taken, of the same friend. In the image, she was at the mall but I soon realized that the photo's background was just very bare and simply colored so I started over for a second time. I eventually chose the image that became my final piece Because it looked like it would be a challenge but not too hard. After finishing the entire project, I realized now that this photo was extremely hard and time-consuming. On the Saturday of the weekend before the project was due, I worked for eight consecutive hours on this project.  I think that I was very detailed in finding every single shade and matching every single color to make it as realistic as I could because that's what I wanted to go for. Though the process was very hard, I am entirely pleased with the outcome and I think that my piece is very cool and elaborate.
