Donate Life Design

For this assignment, I had to develop an art piece with a positive message about organ and tissue donation. Which could help encourage people to become donors. The positive message I used and came up with was “be the match that ignites someone with organ and tissue donation.”

To make my donation to life design I used black paper and many different colors of Prismacolor pencils. for the flames on the match and candle, I mixed all sorts of oranges, yellows, golds, reds, and even blues together to capture the ignite in the flames. Most of the piece was created with a white Prismacolor pencil because I thought it popped with the black background on the paper.

Before I decided on the positive message that I did, and to draw a match and a candle, I actually thought about using the phrase. (whatever the phrase was) but I decided on doing what I did with some help from my friends, and I also thought that other people have already done things relating to sports and that this positive message would be something undone before because I came up with it.
