My successes for this project were that my model is one of my best friends and she was willing to be my model, which was helpful because I know that there are certain people who wouldn't like to be photographed (me being one of those people). I also found success in finding good ideas of good places within the school to take pictures but still make them interesting, like doing the “shadows/extreme lighting” photos which turned out to be my favorite ones in fact.
A challenging aspect I faced during the completion of this project was finding interesting, attractive but still realistic ways to edit my photos. I hadn't really had any trouble with this part in past projects so I am unsure of why it stumped me a little during this project but I think I got around it pretty well and was very creative!
My experience during this project of photographing a model was actually really fun! Lila (Abbot) is super nice and super fun and we had a good time finding fun ways to photograph her. She helped up rulers, we went into the darkroom to get cool photos, she posed in funny positions, and I got down into interesting angles to capture her in a different way. Overall it was fun and not really difficult to photograph my model and she was essentially at ease for the most part.
