Canon EOS Rebel T3 Camera
The left side of the camera - flap that opens ->first whole of the 3, remote shider release -> second, USB cord to plug into your laptop to get photos -> 3rd one, HDMI to connect it to a monitor or TV
Shudder release -> button that takes the pictures
Vertical wheel by shutter release button -> scrolling through menus or settings
Hochew -> metal part on the top for external flash or microphone
Mode dial -> all the different picture settings
M -> manual
Green box - fully automatic
Last one of camera -> Video
LCD screen - shows what is happening -> pictures or settings
Viewfinder -> little dial on the place you look through
Clicking the camera button switches whether you see what you are taking a picture of on your screen or not
While in live view mode -> meaning when you see what you are shooting on the screen -> using the scroller on the top right of the camera changes the shutter speed
While in live view mode, while holding the (AV+/-) button -> if you scroll it will change the aperture
To access ISO and white balance and things -> use the (Q) button
Display = (DISP.) button -> changes what you see on the screen
The star button on the top right = auto exposure lock button
The square button next to the star button = “zoom in to help focus button” -> press once = zoom in by 5 -> press twice = zoom in by 10
To switch the ISO (light sensitivity) -> hit the arrow up button -> select the # you want -> click set the circle button
Arrow pointing left = drive mode -> you can select single shooting, group shooting, and timers
Arrow right (AF - autofocus) -> 3 options
Arrow down (WB - white balance) -> pre-set options and costume
(MENU) button -> Red menus = camera settings, Bue menus = playback, Yellow = setup, and Green = custom menu settings
When in video mode -> camera icon button with the red dot on the left of it is what you click to start recording -> a red light will turn on when it's recording
This assignment was purely to watch videos on the Digital camera I will use for my independent project and learn its features and functions.
