Tea Pot 

Artist statement :
For this project, we were assigned to create an eccentric teapot. I decided to make mine inspired by the movie "Beetlejuice" to add the eccentric element. 

I wanted this piece to be functional in a way so I could actually use the pot for its initial intention. For this piece, I have definitely struggled to make time to finish it because of theatre and outside commitments so my piece is not turning out the way I wanted it to. I decided to make the head of the teapot the sandworm instead and make it look like the worm is going through the whole teapot. I think this will still make the piece look cool and interesting.  

I really like this project, I just wish I chose a different LESS eccentric idea.
