Artist Statement:

The story with this art piece was to pick a random drawing idea from a list and make it come to life.

This art piece relates to my life because growing up in Maine, I have had many snow days which have lead me to make giant snowmen who wore cowboy hats. I loved playing in the snow and still do to this day. Making this piece was so fun and I always enjoy doing this project every year.

The process of this piece was getting an idea for how I want it to look on my paper, and how I want the actual story of my piece to be told. I wanted the snowman to be slowly melting, so he could still have some strength to yell at the sun. I also wanted to made it clear that it was spring time because of the puddles and the green grass.
