The story with this art piece was we were tasked to create a art piece that involved circles inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama. It could be anything we wanted. An object, patterns, anything that was a circle shape.

This art piece relates to my life because I have always grown up with a record player in my life. My great grandmother had this gorgeous red one that was from the 50s. She would play her favorite vinyls, which were mostly Elvis. I was gifted one for my 13th birthday and I love it so much. My favorite vinyl is my Fleetwood Mac Rumours one.

The process of this piece was to draw out the piece in pencil then add color throughout the drawing. I filled the background so it would fill the negative space. For materials I used sharpies, watercolor markers and some black pen to define some things.
