Artist Statement:

The story with this art piece was we were tasked to take a photo of ourselves then outline it to make it look more like a cartoon on acorn or photobooth.

This art piece relates to me because it was a very different technique that I had to learn to use. If I were to do it again I would add more shadows into the drawing so the contrast could fit better. Overall, I really liked using acorn and hope to use it again in the future.

The process of this piece was to outline and define features on my face then fill it in with color to make it more realistic.
