Risk Managment Committee  

The Risk Managment Committee's role is to manage risks and emergencies at the CPS. It plays a crucial role in enhancing the centre's preparedness and response capabilities to effectively address and mitigate potential risks and emergencies. 

Composition: 

The committee is chaired by the Deputy Director for Professional Development and Research  and includes the following members: 

• A standing member  

• Deputy Director for Academic Programs 

• Director of Administration  

• Heads of Academic Departments

Responsibilities: 

• Design plans for managing risks and emergencies at the CPS and oversee their implementation to ensure effectiveness and compliance. 

• Work towards strengthening the CPS’s ability to manage and respond to risks and emergencies by developing and refining relevant strategies. 

• Enhance the CPS’s readiness to mitigate and respond to risk and emergency situations through proactive planning and preparedness measures. 

Responsibilities of the Standing Member: 

• Liaise and communicate with the Risk Management Office regarding matters related to the responsibilities of the Risk Management Committee in the CPS. 

• Call for meetings and write minutes. 

• Prepare the annual Risk Management Register. 

• Prepare an annual report on the activities of the committee and submit it to the Chair.
