Design and maintain web pages in alignment with the CPS’s vision and objectives.
Keep web-based information for students, teachers, and prospective students up-to-date.
Collaborate with the CPS courses, committees, units, and teams to ensure the appropriateness of online materials.
Coordinate with the Center for Information Systems (CIS) on technical issues.
Manage and resolve issues related to e-learning courses and facilities within the CPS.
Update the CPS staff on the use of information and communication technology.
Facilitate cooperation among groups involved in ICT and e-learning within the CPS.
Oversee the procurement of relevant materials, software, and equipment.
Perform daily checks on computer laboratory equipment.
Address software issues in lab computers as necessary.
Report hardware issues to the CIS for prompt resolution.
Support the Student Support Committee upon request.
Produce instructional CDs and DVDs for the CPS faculty.
Fulfill staff requests for replacement of toner cartridges for office printers.
Assist teaching staff with the operation of computer lab equipment as requested.
Provide basic audio-visual support for the CPS staff, including setting up and operating video equipment as needed.
Ensure all software and hardware function correctly.
Maintain and provide technical support for the special needs lab.
Support test administration and related activities.
Bookstore Attendant
Supervise the management of books in the centre’s bookstore.
Liaise with the Procurement Department at SQU regarding book orders.
Coordinate with the print shop for the receipt and transportation of books.
Oversee the distribution and return of books.
Manage financial penalties related to books.
Update and print Barcode Labels.
Assist in the preparation, organization, storage of books, and archiving of folders.
Coordinate annual book orders with the Deputy Director for Academic Programs (DDAP) and Heads of Departments.
Collaborate with department assistants on stationery needs.
Provide reports on bookstore workflow.
Oversee the sorting process of books.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the DDAP.
Photocopy Technician
Collect and copy course materials for all academic staff in the CPS.
Coordinate and manage in-house material printing with the university print shop.
Track and ensure the completion of printing requests for courses with the university print shop.
Maintain a daily log of photocopying requests within the centre.
Provide technical support to academic staff in using photocopy machines.
Prepare monthly reports on the usage of photocopy paper and the condition of the machines.
Handle other relevant duties as assigned by superiors.
Messengers
Collect and distribute university mail and internal correspondence, ensuring delivery to the correct departments.
Deliver external correspondence from the unit to the mail department and other university departments.
Understand and improve the workflow system.
Implement security and safety standards to ensure a suitable working environment for the unit.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned by superiors.
