Tuition Fee Coverage 

Sultan Qaboos University covers the tuition fees for up to two children of non-Omani staff whose post is a Senior Instructor or above under the following conditions: 

1. The child must reside in Oman, except for children with disabilities. 

2. The child must not benefit from free education provided by the state. 

3. The child must be under 18 years old when enrolling in the semester or academic year. 

4. The tuition fee coverage is limited to general education stages (grades 1-12) or their equivalent. 

5. If the university or any other government entity covers the tuition fees for one of the children, the university will only cover the tuition fees for the second child. 

The maximum tuition fee covered by the university is 1,500 Omani Rials per child per year. Payments are made against receipts issued by the concerned educational institution.
