The Director of Administration is a senior role within the CPS responsible for overseeing the administrative and financial operations of the center. This position entails managing administrative and technical staff performance, preparing budget estimates, maintaining financial accounts, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures, and advising the CPS Director on financial and administrative matters. The Director of Administration also approves personnel and resource requests, participates in committees, and coordinates administrative and technical staff training, ensuring the smooth functioning of the center's administrative framework.
Conduct and monitor performance reports for staff under their supervision.
Participate in and prepare budget estimates for the CPS and assist the Director with all budget-related matters.
Manage the accounts and oversee the financial operations of the CPS.
Ensure adherence to financial and administrative procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations, providing advice to the Director as necessary.
Submit bi-annual reports to the CPS Director concerning administrative and financial matters.
Serve on the Steering Committee and participate in additional committees as designated by the Director.
Oversee all financial matters pertaining to CPS staff, including salaries, bonuses, and allowances.
Authorize requests for equipment, software, and furniture.
Approve printing requests submitted to the Printing Press.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director that are consistent with the role's established duties.
Coordinate with external units to organize training and courses for administrative and technical staff.
The Assistant Director of Administration is responsible for managing financial operations, overseeing new staff orientations, and supporting the Director of Administration in maintaining efficient administrative processes within the CPS.
Assist in preparing budget estimates for the CPS.
Manage the CPS petty cash.
Handle account transfers and financial commitments related to CPS funds.
Support and oversee activities during the orientation period for new staff.
Organize duties and arrangements for Placement Tests.
Supervise and manage payments for part-time employees.
Issue final clearance reports for staff who are resigning.
Assist the Director of Administration with administrative and financial tasks similar to those listed above.
