Entitlement:
Employees are entitled to up to ten days of emergency leave per year for urgent situations that cannot be reported in advance.
Procedure:
The employee must submit an emergency leave request to their immediate supervisor upon return, stating the reasons for the leave.
Approval:
If the emergency leave request is rejected, the absence is considered unauthorized, and the employee is not paid for the duration of the absence. This does not exclude the possibility of the employee facing administrative consequences or disciplinary actions due to their unauthorized absence.
