The Induction Committee (IC) facilitates a smooth transition for new faculty and administrative members to SQU, the CPS, and Oman. The IC acts as the primary communication link between new incoming faculty/staff and the CPS from the moment they accept their contract offer and complete the required security clearance. Prior to the arrival of new faculty, the IC liaises with HR and PR, assists with administrative requirements upon joining the CPS, and facilitates an initial orientation to the CPS and its departments. This orientation program includes training workshops, Q&A panels, and familiarization with the CPS building and SQU campus. Throughout the semester, the IC continues to support new teachers in order to ensure a successful transition to their new roles.
