Monday 3rd November - Charity Fundraising Evening in aid of  Hearts for Herts - This evening we were raising money for the charity Hearts for Herts, chosen by majority vote by the Committee. A raffle, various games and quizzes together with everyone's entrance fees helped to raise over £200 which, along with money already in our charity fund, will be donated at a later date.                                 

Monday 10th November - Sadly, Trudy wasn't very well today so Simon called for us on his own with guest tips from Penny and David. David C, claiming that he was behind on his laundry and didn't have any clean "normal" socks, wore a colourful, striped pair instead, rolling up his trouser legs so that we could see the full effect!

It was announced that there were still 19 numbers left for our "Lucky Squares" game which was raising money for our charity, Hearts for Herts,  but before the evening was out they had all been purchased. Bob and Simon opened the envelope containing the £50 note, checked the "Lucky Squares" chart and found that the person who chose the winning last three numbers of the note's serial number was Carole B. Congratulations, Carole!

Monday 17th November - With Trudy unwell again this evening Simon called on his own but with a guest tip from Penny. As our Secretary and Treasurer, Janet and David H, were away on a Turkey and Tinsel break we were very grateful to Michael D for taking over as Treasurer for the and to David S for locking up at the end of the evening.

Monday 24th November - With Trudy continuing to be unwell, Simon called for us on his own this evening with guest tips from David and Penny. We were reminded that on Sunday afternoon (30th November) the London & Home Counties Regional Callers Assembly will be holding their Christmas dance with Simon, hopefully Trudy and Penny calling easy Mainstream.

Next week (1st December) Waggoners will be closed while we go out to Wodson Park in Ware for a Christmas Social Meal.
