Saturday 4th May 2024 - Penny called at a new callers' dance held by Cheltenham Square Dance Club and sang a duet with Suzanne Fletcher-Mallinson (pictured beside Penny). The event raised £140 for the charity Gloucestershire Nightstop.

Monday 13th May 2024 - Penny and David were our callers this evening as we celebrated the 80th birthday of David S. David S generously paid the weekly subs for all those present and we gave him a birthday cake decorated with a photo of him calling at an Open Mic night and a card signed by the members. After he had ceremoniously cut the cake it was shared with the members. At our invitation David S called a Mainstream tip using "Music Box Dancer" for his patter and "Chantilly Lace" for his singer. Later in the evening, Penny and David performed their first ever duet of "City of New Orleans" which, although not yet perfect, received warm applause from the dancers. At the end of the evening Penny and David were thanked for filling in for Trudy and Simon while they were away.

Monday 20th May 2024 - We were pleased to welcome back Trudy and Simon from their holiday in Scotland and they called to three squares this evening. Our newer dancers were introduced to "Ocean Waves" and the calls "Step to an Ocean Wave", "Do si do to an Ocean Wave" and then "Swing Thru". We sang "Happy Birthday" to Simon, who celebrated his birthday on the drive back from Scotland, and Maggie, who will be celebrating later this week.
