While on a cruise to France, Spain and Portugal with dancers from All Square at Zero SDC, David, our Treasurer, joined in the fun of a "Tropical Night" themed evening donning a colourful shirt, leis and a grass skirt.

Monday 6th July - On a very warm evening we danced on the playground until after sunset. In memory of Victor Willis, the founding lead singer of the Village People and who has recently passed away, Simon played "Y.M.C.A." which many of the members enjoyed joining in with the actions during the chorus
Friday 10th July - Penny and Bob, who are celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary this month, invited members to join them at a Square Dance at Wodson Park in Ware where we all enjoyed a lovely evening dancing to Trudy and Simon. As a special surprise, Penny even called one Tip.
Monday 13th July - Even though it was a warm evening, it was too windy to dance on the playground because the speakers would have been blown over.
As Trudy and Simon were away, David H and Penny called for us and they invited David S to do a singing call which he did accompanying himself on the ukulele.
During the break we enjoyed cakes brought by Penny and Bob (for their Golden Wedding Anniversary) and Marion (for her birthday next week).
Monday 20th July - With the current heatwave continuing we danced in the Dining Hall to Trudy and Simon who were back from their week by the River Thames at Runnymede.
Monday 27th July - Penny and David called for us this evening as Trudy and Simon were away on a short break to Suffolk. Another warm evening but by opening all the windows and doors in the Dining Hall we were able to keep reasonably cool.
