La Marcha Con La Matador

INTRODUCTION

The story “La Marcha Con La Matador” is a comedy about a couple of rodeo performers who become injured at a Rodeo Show with one of the toughest bulls to take down. In fact this bull has seemed to escape death by attacking the crowd in a few past attempts, although his presence packs a full crowd. He’s a rodeo clown and his wife is a matador who takes on the show with some other performers to show the bull off along with their talent.

Once the show goes bad and the matador is nearly gored and trampled over and even going back in to give another try and the rodeo clown gets trampled on and rolled out in a barrel, of course, they both end up in the hospital for a short time. Then afterwards when they return home as his matador wife confronts him about some of the bills and how they need to supplement their income with something else.

That’s when he thinks back to a bet with a crazy cowboy he had won over a wild horse in which the crazy cowboy never paid up as of yet. Soon the rodeo clown asks crazy cowboy friend about some of the wild horses he had caught and sold because now he’s thinking it would be a way to make a good living. But then again on the other side of the coin, the crazy cowboy owes him a wild horse or favor anyhow. Soon he and his matador wife are out looking for wild horses and wild bulls. The strange part to the whole thing is that his matador wife wants to catch the wild horses with a truck called “The Horse Ranger” while he is in the back trying to lasso a wild horse.

Quickly they pack up their camping and horse catching gear as well as some maps as they head out to the basin and ranges searching for a herd of wild horses. Once they find a herd of wild horses, they begin the pursuit being led through an obstacle course built for a wild horse. And that’s when things start to go wrong and the comedy really comes alive with the many stunts and truck crashing and wrecking scenes such as the rodeo clown getting thrown out of the back of the truck in to a crowd of river people camping and partying.

They even get wrecked and thrown in to trees, rocks, and boulders which bruise and scuffle them off to where they become angry saying crazy things and such. Finally they get stuck in the river and sit back drinking beer wondering how to get out and where to winch out from. Towards the end they get stuck on a huge boulder and nearly give up trying to jack up the truck off the boulder with some wild horses charging them and messing with them.

Eventually they get the truck out from being stuck and they find a better place where there are some wild horses to try and catch while they romp “The Horse Ranger” for another thrill ride adventure. Soon they realize that this isn’t really turning out to be profitable for them.

Then with more bad luck about to brew up, they run in to a frontiersman like cowboy named “Wild Bull” who shows them the real way to catch a wild horse with only a rope and his charm which make it too easy to be true. Finally they decide to try it again with only their charm and wits as they catch one in the end. Then they catch a few more to bronco bust out and sell for a profit.

PROLOGUE

The beginning of “La Marcha Con La Matador” begins with a bull fighting and rodeo ring show with some prior performances with some other matadors and bull riders. There are some performances that become a little out of hand and on edge when some of the matadors are nearly gored and pushed towards the fence and rails heading far in to the bleachers.

Of course, a few bulls and bronco busted horses almost make an entrance in to the crowd as well. And here’s a show of skill where most of the matadors and rodeo clowns try to put on a little more excitement than ordinarily expected. Yet many of the matadors and rodeo clowns are trampled and run over many more times than only once, but then again, this is all just part of the act.

After the crowds is already very in to the bullfighting rodeo show, the rodeo clown and his matador wife are finally up to give their best performance, although things go smooth at first as they dodge the bull along with the many of the rodeo ring barrels that are there spread in a carousel for their protection. Nevertheless the matador’s performance weakens as the bull she is fighting shows a little more aggression than most of her previous bull fighting and rodeo ring shows.
