INTRODUCTION
The story named “Indian Singer” is a fourth stage story that takes place in the future where everyone is vile and corrupt and even more to the point where the world is becoming despicable. The third sequel starts off with Ynana in her Kiva trying to do a ceremonial ritual to redeem her wings of hell and birth rite. She does some excavating and digging around the site redeeming a headdress that she had worn long ago in the past as an inspiration to her spiritual abilities.
One of those spiritual abilities was within her love of music which brings her thoughts back to the ancient days of the Koko pelli who sang a flute to raise many things such as the waters for farming or even the flames of hell to invoke the demons. Soon she starts to have recognition of her menarche involving her mother who was a Shaman who burned to death trying to raise the demon without an offering. This persuades her to redeem more of her past which leads to a crime that instead of the good luck that she felt she had so deserved.
It isn’t long before she is hunted down by the law and an evil treasure hunter as she escapes ditching them through the foothills of some high cliffs with dwellings. Once she hides as a refuge to safety she is haunted by the remnants of a Shaman Lady who was enemies with her mother’s family clan of her matrilineal family side. The Shaman Lady tries to dispel her progressive acts of finding her inner self to reach deep for the emotion needed for the inspiration. The Shaman Lady accomplishes this by poisoning her with witchcraft and herbs which makes her ill.
Ynana finally overcomes her spell using white magic before discovering some ancient pictographs of some Koko pelli drawings such as the Sonoran, Canyon, and the St. John’s Koko pelli which is running while singing. However she has a moral choice before learning to sing like the canyon Koko pelli bringing back essence of her one of her homes essence of nature.
Then as she sings like an inspired spirit she makes her first hit. Afterwards she feels happy and that everything was well worth it in the end. At the very end the evil Shaman Lady compliments on her behalf and explains to her the menarche of the matrilineal clans. This is when she becomes an Indian Singer.
PROLOGUE
The story begins with Ynana trying to sing some lyrics that she has written over the last several nights before arriving. She tries to sing them over and over again while trying to rewrite certain passages and lines of lyrics. No matters how hard she tries she seems to mess up here and there which starts to frustrate her to the point of distress. Soon she starts looking around the Kiva after hearing some noises from the outside indicating that she may have to open a hole to the other side.
This is when she starts looking around by sifting through the layers of strata that have been formed over the many generations of time and space. After looking around a while she discovers the grass strands lining a headdress that has been buried for many centuries that seems to be in fair shape. Then suddenly she puts it on bringing her visions of the past with her mother’s menarche which lead to her discovering the echoes of the ancient times.
