Catcher of Love Subpage 2

CHAPTER FIVE

Now the Conquering Chief is present within the world of heaven as many images begin to come to his mind. One of the first images brought his way are of Jesus Christ with his hands open to him. At first the hands of Jesus Christ are open to him as though he was never crucified and that his wounds have healed.

Immediately there is a voice from heaven which sounds like it was coming from Jesus Christ himself, although it may be from the perspective of the Conquering Chief saying, “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me; which said, ‘Come up hither and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter’ (Rev 4:1).”

Then another voice delights, “And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne (Rev 4:2).”

Still the voice continues on saying, “And he that sat was to look like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald (Rev 4:3).”

Quickly he is able to see others as the voice continues with, “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white rainment; and they had on their head crowns of gold (Rev 4:4)”

The light of the sun in which Jesus Christ has been ingrained in to transforms in to a brighter beam of light that becomes like heaven in the highest of dimensions. And once the Conquering Chief has entered into Jesus Christ and his testimony, many more images come to mind as though Jesus Christ was beginning to show an overlay of the whole entire story leading up to this point in his life.

The light of heaven is so bright that it is nearly blinding to those of the ceremonial grounds to where many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam remain in a stance of prayer. The Leopard Clan man sponsor has soon bowed his head in remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. In fact, at one point the Leopard Clan man sponsor places his hands to gather as though he was praying to an altar of Jesus Christ as he bows his head over the broken pottery shards of the vessel of a potter.

In the meantime many of the Song Bird Clan members such as Lightning Sky and Happy Song stop with their musical talents while they remain in prayer mode as well. Yet there are still those who have gone home to their rock shelter dwellings in order to join back with their daily lives. Also there’s the family of War Hawk who is waiting around the candle lit basalt rock shelter until the Jesus Way Ceremony of the Conquering Chief is complete so that they can bring about the next task of the cultural transformation.

Some of the first images that enter in to the Conquering Chief’s mind are that of the Woman of Heaven as she is in his visions dancing around her ceremonial cane. At this time the words of Jesus as such that were interpreted by John the Divine at the turn of the century come alive saying, “And there appeared a woman in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (Rev 12:1).”

The images continue flowing as the Conquering Chief can see the Woman of Heaven give the offering of her child to the dragon in order to bring the testimony of Jesus Christ to the man-child ceremony as a voice from heaven says, “And she being with child travailing in birth, and pain to be delivered (Rev 12:2).”

Now the images in heaven change as Jesus Christ guides him by his hand to a throne of God with the successful outcomes of her ceremonial offering of her child as another voice rejoices, “And she brought forth a man-child; who was to rule all nations with a rod-of-iron: and her child was caught unto God, and to his throne (Rev 12:5).”

Next the Conquering Chief notices the Lamb opening a seal to his testimony as another voice speaks out, “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, ‘Come and see’ (Rev 6:1).”

Soon the Conquering Chief catches some more images as he sees a four legged beasts emerge like that of a horse such as the ones the conquistadors use. Subsequently there is another voice coming from the perspectives of the Conquering Chief talking, “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer (Rev 6:2).”

Following the Conquering Chief envisions the Lamb opening the second seal as another voice carries on with, “And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, ‘Come and see’ (Rev 6:3).”

Succeeding these descriptions is another visionary succession of another four legged beast such as the one described earlier with another voice depicting, “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given unto him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword (Rev 6:4).”

Later the Lamb begins to open the third seal which is a part of the testimony of Jesus Christ our savior cheerfully saying, “And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, ‘Come and see.’ And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand (Rev 6:5).”

And soon there is another voice that carries out the net sequence of events within the testimony of Jesus Christ our savior jubilating, “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, ‘A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine (Rev 6:6).”

Finally there is another Lamb who takes out another seal to open it for the next part of the testimony Jesus Christ our savior as the voice continues on with, “And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, ‘Come and see’ (Rev 6:7).”

And directly thereafter it seems that the Conquering Chief feels for a split second that he is in some kind of heavenly rodeo perhaps as the voice carries from his perspective, “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and wine death, and with the beasts of the earth (Rev 6:8).”

Meanwhile the testimony of Jesus Christ moves on as another angel appears over the skies in heaven who has been around since the Lamb had been opening many seals who is a dark female figure with long dark wings, known as Dark Angel who says, “And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of the heaven, with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound (Rev 8:13)!”

At this time comes the Conquering Chief thinks about how his tribe had never seen horses until the conquistadors have first arrived. Then all of a sudden he is seeing them in heaven within a new frame of light and mind. And this brings us to the next part of the testimony where the Conquering Chief recognizes Jesus Christ and his power of the sun as he displays some powers of his own within heaven’s own miraculous way.

During a lapse of time during the transitions of Jesus Christ and his testimony, Little Dream Catcher and Dream Catcher are still embedded in the basalt rock shelter while the Conquering Chief continues on with his presence in heaven. They are currently talking to Father Hawk and Chief Tomahawk about the peace and serenity they had earned as a leniency from the conquistador and to the people of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam.

First off, Little Dream Catcher mentions this in a conversation with her elders as she comments, “We should be thankful that the conquistadors gave us some time to perform some of our personal ceremonies!”

Without wasting any further time with any pushing off the fact that the time is near, Chief Tomahawk counters her approach by balking at Father Hawk, “I just hope that your son War Hawk doesn’t let his ego get in the way of the freedom we have earned before we win back our independence from these oppressions!”

By now, Dream Catcher feels that she should stick up for Father Hawk by saying a few words in behalf of War Hawk jousting, “I don’t see why his ego would get in the way before our allies arrive!”

There’s no doubt that the conquistadors think that the tribe is performing a specific ceremony as Little Dream Catcher says, “Well, they think we have been doing a three day rain dance!”

Without any further hesitations Chief Tomahawk can only dream of his freedom deliberating, “When the Rain People of the four corners arrive; there will be a reign dance alright!”

But then on the other hand, the little children of the basalt rock shelter can only dream of having their ancestral heritages back as Little Catcher remarks, “We just want to have our own jewelry stand in the new Teguayo!”

Down below at the arrastras, War Hawk has been playing some games with the conquistadors with the conglomerated ores he has been getting. It seems that there are some good pieces which he has been hiding in the dirt under some Jojoba plants that are growing nearby and there are some that he has hidden in other places. Of course, the other arrastra workers are doing the same, although they have been hiding some of the gold on larger scales.

As he continues getting his conglomerate rock from River Badger, who has been bringing mostly ores with only a few chunks of gold in it here and there, War Hawk continues whipping his mule around making it look as though he has been working extremely hard. And still he tries to keep aloof while picking out what he can to fill in his burlap sacks.

Meanwhile the Conquistador Prophet Ramon looks wondering why he has been filling as many burlap sacks as normally. After watching for a few minutes longer while preoccupied, the Prophet Ramon walks over towards some of the other conquistadors to talk about it.

Thereafter the ensuing part of the testimony of Jesus Christ our savior displays him measuring everything of this world from a bird’s eye point of view. Most of what the Conquering Chief sees and witness is past tense considering it had just happened momentarily before Jesus Christ had first arrived on a spiritual plane.

And the testimony continues on as the voice describes the following images speaking out, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, ‘Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and then that worship therein (Rev 11:1).”

Soon the descriptions of what the Conquering Chief sees as far as the courts of heaven are concerned are then carried out in the next part of the testimony of Jesus Christ. The voice continues on as what could be from the perspective of the Conquering Chief. When he sees the temple to be mentioned which was given unto the Gentiles, the Conquering Chief notices how many others have witnessed his connection to the powerful light of God as well.

Now the voice carries on as it says while rejoicing the heavens, “But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not: for it is given unto the Gentiles and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months (Rev 11:2).”

Momentarily the spirit of Jesus appears as it does within the sun as he and his tribe had first imagined before the Jesus Way Ceremony had begun. Quickly the images change to that of Jesus unto his two prophets Peter and Paul as he shows them his hands with holes as the wounds from his crucifixion. At first they are amazed as they realize that he has resurrected from after the three days on the cross.

Next the voice continues on from more like the perspective of Jesus Christ himself with more versus saying, “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth (Rev 11:3).”

As Peter and Paul carry on while enduring the moment another voice as that of Jesus Christ comes forth saying, “These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth (Rev 11:4).”

Now the Conquering Chief is present in the midst while learning about the powers given unto the two prophets Peter and Paul. This is considering that they were sped up as far as the atoms of their bodies are concerned in order for them to walk the earth forever. The next versus are about the powers given unto them when they were turned in to the Lamanites.

The next verse goes as follows as the voice of Jesus Christ explains the power given unto his prophets by going further speaking, “And if any man will hurt them fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed (Rev 11:5).”

Soon the Conquering Chief witnesses the powers that open a door as well as the powers that can close up heaven when the voice goes into some additional details in a triumphant expression, “These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have powers over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will (Rev 11:6).”

Now Jesus Christ moves into the testimony of his two prophets Peter and Paul as the voice in the perspectives of Jesus Christ our savior communicates, “And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them (Rev 11:7).”

There’s no doubt that the next verse is something that has something to do with the ultimate powers that the prophets of Jesus Christ have obtained through the scripture reading, “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified (Rev 11:8).”

Of course, Jesus Christ and his testimony is going a bit towards the death and dying like images as another voice speaks out, “And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves (Rev 11:9).”

By this time the powers given unto the prophets of Jesus Christ are bringing the Conquering Chief the security he needs in the next verse saying, “And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth (Rev 11:10).”

The powers of the two prophets have nearly become God-like in the next verse according to the voice of testimony in heaven saying, “And after three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet: and great fear fell upon them which saw them (Rev 11:11).”

During the meantime the Leopard Clan man sponsor is ready to come out of his trance like meditation state which has been a humble one at best. And when he does he begins to gather the broken vessels of a potter that are there lying on the Lakota like ceremonial rug.

In order to save them as his relics in terms of religious icons, the Leopard Clan man sponsor gathers them and places them in a large gris-gris bag before putting them aside for good luck, although he does think for a moment whether or not he should bury one for a record of the past so that these occurrences of a historical time can be remembered.

Finally the images according to the perspectives of the Conquering Chief move towards the future of where Jesus Christ and his testimony make their way to Central America in the country of Guatemala. This is when the next transformation of Jesus Christ and his testimony comes as he visits to witness the entire flock of his children.

Nevertheless the Conquering Chief witnesses Jesus Christ and his visitation of the flocks of children in Central America. And during this time the Conquering Chief witnesses as the Guatemalans approach him at the top of the stairs while one bears a child as the same voice carries over rejoicing triumphant voice, “And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, ‘Come up hither.’ And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them (Rev 11:12).”

And as the Conquering Chief continues learning of Jesus Christ and his testimony unfold the voice of heaven moves ahead in the next verse saying, “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of heaven (Rev 11:13).”

As a final point to the first woe and second woe or part of Jesus Christ and his testimony, the Conquering Chief hears the voice from above come alive once again as another verse sings out, “The second woe is past: and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly (Rev 11:14).”

But then the testimony of Jesus Christ seems to change gears a little bit as the Conquering Chief begins to witness some of the torture that he had to face while walking the cross in Galilee with a voice saying, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, ‘THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; AND IT SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER (Rev 11:15).”

Next the Conquering Chief witnesses Jesus Christ and his testimony of being on the cross as his Prophets and elders all watch and gather around as the next verse woes, “And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God (Rev 11:16).”

In contrast to the former testimony of Jesus Christ and his giving witness to the Conquering Chief, many of the prophets and elders continue their worshipping unto the Lord as his testimony and visitation of the flocks of children begins as the voice says, “Saying, We give thanks, O Lord God almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come: because thou hast taken to thee they great power, and hast reigned (Rev 11:17).”

And now the time has come within Jesus Christ and his testimony for God’s wrath to come considering that the nations as well as the seven churches who had allowed Jesus Christ to be put on the cross are angry. As the Conquering Chief watches and witnesses the testimony further, the voice lingers on, “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and then that fear thy name, small and great: and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth (Rev 11:18).”

Quickly the Conquering Chief is ready to observe the real powers and bounties of heaven as the voice moves along within the testimony of Jesus Christ saying, “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail (Rev 11:19).”

And finally the Conquering Chief realizes through the testimony of Jesus Christ that his powers are endless and that he is truly the son of God. But then on the other hand the Conquering Chief realizes and understands that the Jesus Way Ceremony of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam was a successful ceremony unto itself as it has developed the right outcome.

Of course, Jesus Christ and his testimony prove that there was some knowledge of how the earth wasn’t flat even before the days of Columbus. And it proves that Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza and Jesus Christ both had some knowledge of how the earth was round.

Also the testimony of Jesus Christ proves that they both had some knowledge of how the solar system worked as far as how the earth revolves around the sun. Another fact is that the testimony of Jesus Christ also proves that horses have been here in the New World and as well in heaven long before the time of Francisco De Coronado.

And finally the Conquering Chief has witnessed the testimony of Jesus Christ as he gets ready to return to the third world which is a reality unto him in contrast to this world of heaven he has visited. Or then maybe on the other hand the world of heaven has visited him nonetheless.

Soon Jesus Christ stops the testimony of his life’s work as the Conquering Chief prepares for his return as Jesus Christ says unto him, “And now share the testimony you have witnessed unto your people so that they will be free!”

Now the Conquering Chief returns to the top of the tell mound within the upper cliffs above the Agua Fria River while many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam remain in a state of prayer. In one sense it’s a state of euphoria as many of them seem to be high on the Jesus Way Ceremony that has been a successful part of their endeavors.

Once the Conquering Chief has returned to his people and next to the Lakota like rug where the Jesus Way Ceremony was performed, the Leopard Clan man sponsor welcomes him back by remaining silent while giving him warmth and comfort. The Conquering Chief tries to adjust his eyes and his awareness of this world back in to the present now considering that the Jesus Way Ceremony had brought him back in the past, present as well as the future tense of these realities.

Meanwhile while the Conquering Chief catches up with the present even though in a sense to me it’s as though time itself had stopped. Things have been in full turn down below at the arrastras with the crushing of gold ores. It was almost like that when the Conquering Chief had gone and visited heaven within the Jesus Way Ceremony time had stopped and everything waited for him. Then on the other hand maybe the members of the families decided to keep motionless with their respect for Jesus Christ and the Jesus Way Ceremony they performed.

While the Conquering Chief becomes blessed once again upon his return from the world of heaven as a spiritual place, much is happening down below as War Hawk and the other arrastra workers continue trying to please the needs of the conquistadors. However this time they are more attuned to the worships of respecting Jesus Christ even though they could only witness his bountiful testimony from above.

Yet when they noticed the morning sunrise they could see Jesus Christ as a figure within the gleaming rays of the sun as he came to visit the flocks of the children of the New World. And now this change in their views of religion has gone from Indigenous to nearly Catholic and then on the other hand it is also considered a movement of other religions as well such as Lutheran perhaps which is another addition to Old World Religions.

At this time the, down at the arrastras Arrastra Boy has been pulling up some great specimens of gold ore which have had a few large size nuggets imbedded within. Then in another burlap sack are some ore specimens which seem to have very little gold ore composite, although there are some good size nuggets sticking out here and there which seem to look fancy enough.

Once the thought comes to mind of how they are still in the preparation mode of kicking the conquistadors from the deserts of the Southwest plains, Arrastra Boy places some of the better specimens of gold away within a hiding spot he has down by the end of the third arrastra. Then he shows one of the weaker specimens to Brown Badger who takes a glance before turning back to work with whipping his mule around the centered pole of the arrastra.

But of course Arrastra Boy turns back and decides to place some more rocks of conglomerate inside the arrastra from the piles that Water Badger and River Badger have been bringing from certain areas of the Agua Fria River bottom. Yet, still War Hawk has the same notion within his scheming mind of his considering that the conquistadors and their last days are here forever. And the main point in mind is that the conquistadors aren’t going anywhere but back to where they came from.

However at the mule stall the Prophet Ramon has been standing at the back end for a while Conquistador Tesoro De Castallnaza remains within his Spanish Quarters just many feet east of the third arrastra. It doesn’t take long before he looks to Conquistador Felipe nodding his head that they may be being taken by one of the arrastra workers.

Furthermore back at top in the basalt rock shelter Mother Hawk has finished up with some weaving of some protective leather clothes that she has made with some beaded artwork. There are even several necklaces braces that she has made for the occasion as well. Soon she arrives next door for the first time considering that she is really one to be in to her work without allowing any distraction.

Immediately Chief Tomahawk takes notice of some of her finished beaded chest plates that look like they could probably take a jab or two from a lance perhaps. Then on the other hand it’s hard to say at this early point in time considering that none of them have really been geared up for a cause like this such as freedom.

Quickly Chief Tomahawk, who has the first take considering he already knows which one was made for him says, “This one was made for me!”

Thereafter Father Hawk looks to him as he prepares to take his necklace brace and a beaded chest plate that was especially made for him elaborating; “Now you are a Chief!”

Straight forth Chief Tomahawk takes his gear like he’s ready to dress for war answering back, “Soon there will be a tribe led by Chief Tomahawk!”

And then without a doubt Mother Hawk decides to reach in to her burlap pouch that she has made and intertwined in to her outfit which has many other pouches of war paints saying, “Then you’ll really like the war paint I have prepared for everyone!”

Next instantaneously Father Hawk and Chief Tomahawk become very excited as she shows some of the war paint as Father Hawk comments, “Now we can dress up like hawks when the time comes later today!”

And while she is holding her dream catcher that she has made for the Woman of Heaven, Little Dream Catcher rubs the webbing with the letters spelling “witch” saying, “Do you have some tattooing inks?”

Straight away Mother Hawk pulls out some tattooing ink that she has placed in small leather like pouches while answering her back, “Yes, I have some tattooing paints that I have made which are of an indigo blue!”

In a hurriedly like attitude Little Dream Catcher can only think of a needle while saying, “What about a tattooing point?”

While looking around in her burlap bag, Mother Hawk retorts remarking, “Yes, I have a tattooing point and I also found a tattooing needle that I made from a Saguaro Cactus thorn!”

Now Little Dream Catcher wants the entire kit and set up in order to dress up and conceal her own identity such as the other Indian Hawk Warriors saying, “Excellent then I will be able to give Ynana the gift of some tattoos!”

Immediately Little Catcher and Little Hawk become anxious to get their hands on some war paint as Little Hawk asks swiftly, “What about some war paint for the both of us?”

And without a doubt Mother Hawk has made some war paint for them as well as everyone else who will be participating in today’s rage of an event as she carries on saying, “I have made pouches of war paint for the both of you especially and some for your father and the other arrastra workers!”

Right then, Mother Hawk hands out her supplies to everyone as the family prepares for the future events that are about to take place. However there are some other actions taking place outside as many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indian begins to gear up for what’s about to take place.

Many of the tribal members begin to gather more rocks that are fairly heavy enough to throw over the cliff’s edge that hangs over the Agua Fria River just above the three arrastras. The Agua Fria River also bends from the north to the east there before turning back south a tenth of a mile or so. So far they have built up a many piles here and there which have been covered over with dirt just in case one of the conquistadors was to come up for an inspection. In fact there are a few times here and there that they do sneak up on them during certain occasions.

Meanwhile down next to the Spanish Quarters War Hawk has lacked bringing and filling many of the burlap sacks. Of course, this is with the considerations that they are trying to keep most of what they feel belongs to their mining enterprise. And while War Hawk checks his arrastra for some nuggets of gold that are exposed out of some of the ore that River and Water Badger have been bringing, the Prophet Ramon nods his head to Miguel to sneak over on horse with his lance.

For a moment or so War Hawk thought he had heard something off in the distance and he realizes that if they see him or anyone of them stealing again that the ropes are back on. There’s no doubt that they’re pushing themselves at the end of their wait for the right time of the ceremony. But then on the other hand the arrastra workers don’t want to allow the conquistadors to get away with too much gold when they push them out especially if any of them makes it out alive.

Yet still they probably will get away with something if they allow one of the mule trains to leave before the time comes. So far, War Hawk feels that they have made it in the clear holding them back. However moments later War Hawk notices the Prophet Ramon watching as he sneaks his way back in to the Spanish Quarters where Conquistador Tesoro Castallanza is residing at for the moment.

CHAPTER SIX

At the top of the cliffs rock face, the Conquering Chief is looming over looking down at the scene from above. Meanwhile Lightning Sky and Happy Song are with him along with the Leopard Clan man sponsor who are watching some of the scenes unfold. There are some of their children whom there as well such as Lightning Strike who is very anxious to throw some of his own rocks from his rock pile. And then on the other hand is the oldest sister Spirited Sky along with their youngest daughter Little Songbird. Of course they are both part of the Songbird Clan such as the clan that their parents belong unto.

Nevertheless they all feel that they should wait until the arrival of the Rain People, who will in about a thousand of years or so become the Ancient Anasazi, aid them in the removal of the conquistador and his presence among these deserts of the southwest. Still they all watch as many of the other Southwest Tonto Hohokam prepare for the many hours to come which are coming closer and closer. Many of the children are only able to take a quick look down leaving the rest up to the Conquering Chief.

During the time being down at the arrastras, River Badger has brought some more conglomerate rock from the bottom of the Agua Fria River bottom from some certain places that are in-between some large boulders. And when he does he notices some small nuggets that are loose within the ore rock in which he pulls out and places in a special hiding spot he has down near the river bed.

Soon he fills one of the buckets that he has while Water Badger does the same in order to keep a full supple of ore to crush up at the three arrastras. At the same time, Brown Badger decides to do the same without paying or giving it too much attention. And this stems from the fact that they are being watched with a close eye as their mining enterprises begin to become more risky, although he never notices the difference.

There are also some good size gold nuggets that War Hawk has hidden underneath some of the rock built and intertwined within the base of the arrastra. In fact, War Hawk has been stashing a few here and there considering that he has been taking the trust given to his tribe the last several days for granted. Yet he continues filling the burlap sack of gold that he is currently working on even though he tries and wants to hold most of the gold content back for themselves.

Then quickly from nowhere, the conquistador Miguel approaches on horse holding his lance out pointing towards War Hawk. He holds his lance out towards War Hawk as Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza makes his way towards him from his Spanish Quarters. Immediately War Hawk notices as he scrambles to pick some small gold nuggets out from the arrastra after whipping his mule around a few times.

As soon as Conquistador Tesoro De Castallamza approaches War Hawk, he becomes ready to accuse him of stealing right away by asking, “Que Paso!”

Straight away, War Hawk answers his question while continuing to whip his mule around the centered pole of the arrastra saying, “Yo justo estoy trabajando!”

Next Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza picks up his burlap sack while checking the weight and contents of it as War Hawk tries to act aloof and independent as though it means nothing. The others watch in awe while trying to act normal as though they don’t notice a thing with War Hawk being interrogated with the lance being pointed back at his face nearly from only a few feet away.

Once Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza looks inside of the burlap sack, he turns back to War Hawk nearly accusing him saying, “Looks a little shabby today?’

Immediately War Hawk continues working while trying to ignore the point while a few more conquistadors approach such as Conquistador Guard Federico and Conquistador Juan who are curious as to what’s going on at the arrastras. Many of them arrive on horse even though they usually remain at the eastern end of the mule stalls keeping the horses and mules from getting loose on the range.

Right then, War Hawk finds some more nuggets in the arrastra in which he picks up while Conquistador Tesoro stands beside the arrastra watching. Quickly the Conquistador Prophet Ramon points to one of his stash spots as the conquistadors all look and stare. Then Conquistador Riguel moves closer with his lance while a few other conquistadors such as Conquistador Pedro arrive on horse making their way over towards the second and first arrastras of the three.

Meanwhile Conquistador Miguel remains back a ways towards the mule stall and Spanish Quarters while most of this action continues to take place. Even Rafael turns that way while looking back as though he is picking something up. And just then Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza makes his way over towards War Hawk’s stash spot. Once he uncovers a few stones which are a part of the arrastra, he uncovers a few small gold nuggets that he had found and decided to hide since the break of the new day.

With an angry look upon his face, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza turns to him asking, “Que es esto?”

Straight forth the arrastra worker War Hawk tries to brush it off and act like it’s nothing answering back promptly, “No se!”

Finally Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza carries on further saying, “Then how did they get here?”

Thereafter War Hawk thinks of something to say considering that he wasn’t expecting to get caught or anything such as this to happen retorting, “They must have worked through the bedding of the arrastra there!”

Nevertheless without a doubt the Conquistador Prophet Ramon sticks his two senses out wondering how he should nail him red handed as he nods to Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza who comes back saying, “Well, a couple of the other conquistadors seen you hiding some gold nuggets under the rocks which means I think it’s the other way around and you’re lying to me.”

Now without trying to push things off any longer, War Hawk realizes that he has been had and how he should have been more careful. Yet he decides to remain quiet for the time being in order to hear what he has to say or do about it. And then another moment or so passes while War Hawk remains quiet while waiting as though he has nothing to say about it.

Soon after Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza has something more to say about it carrying on further, “I suppose you have nothing to say after allowing you and your family three days of peace for some ceremony that was all lies!”

Finally Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza turns to Pedro saying, “And checks their arrastras too!”

Straight off the mark Conquistador Pedro uses his lance to move over some rocks at about where he had seen Brown Badger possibly bury something if he had some gold nuggets to try and hide from them all. At first, Pedro turns over a few stones and finds nothing, but then moments later he turns over a few more exposing a few small thumb size nuggets.

Of course, Conquistador Rafael picks up Conquistador Pedro’s vibes down at the second arrastra which causes him to move in much closer.

Immediately Conquistador Pedro turns back from the second arrastra towards the first arrastra where War Hawk is working yelling, “Yes, Brown Badger has dammed a few nuggets too!”

And without warning Conquistador Tesoro decides to command his men to check even Arrastra Boy who is down at the third arrastra for something that may have been hidden away yelling out, “Check out Arrastra Boy too!”

Just then Conquistador Guard Federico and Conquistador Juan make their way down towards the first arrastra considering that Brown Badger and Arrastra Boy switch arrastras to mix things up a little. Though this time things didn’t work out the way they had planned by switching arrastras in order to keep their hidings kept away.

Once Conquistador Federico and Conquistador Juan reach the first arrastra, they both start to look as Conquistador Guard Federico gets off of his horse to take a look while Juan pushes Arrastra Boy back a few feet. However River Badger and Water Badger remain a many yards away trying to stay aloof from the situation. Moments go by while Conquistador Guard Federico looks around the rocks within the bedding of the arrastra as well as right next to it exposing a few gold nuggets.

Once Conquistador Guard Federico finds the gold nuggets he picks them up and looks to Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza yelling out, “Found some!”

Right then, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza looks to Conquistador Rafael ordering, “Fasten their hands together!”

Quickly Conquistador Rafael approaches War Hawk with some rope to tie his hands together as punishment for stealing from him especially after his leniency during their three day Jesus Way Ceremony. Meanwhile Conquistador Felipe waits a ways back near the mule stalls watching from a distance. Yet at the top of the rock face many of the family members are watching while keeping some low profiles his behind the basalt rocks and grassy vegetation.

At first, War Hawk tries to a resist the temptation of having his hands tied together as he pulls both of his has away for a brief moment with an angry look upon his face. However Conquistador Guard Federico fades his way back towards the second arrastra pushing Brown Badger with his lance towards Conquistador Rafael. And meanwhile while Juan pushes Arrastra Boy with his lance forward towards Conquistador Rafael as well.

Once War Hawk see that they are more than serious, he lets up as Conquistador Rafael places the rope around his wrists of both hands to bind them tightly together. Once Conquistador Rafael finishes with tying up War Hawk’s hands, he moves and walks over to Brown Badger in order to repeat the same process. And during that time Conquistador Guard Federico and Conquistador Juan hand over their findings which were found hidden beneath the rocked bedding of the arrastras.

Moments later, River Badger and Water Badger approach wondering what’s happening as Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza looks to them both saying, “You’ve all been stealing from us!”

“What have you hidden from us?” Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza adds as the walk closer with a protested expression across their cheeks.

Without any further hesitations Brown Badger turns to the conquistador answering back diligently, “We’ve taken nothing!”

Soon War Hawk has settled in from the action that has been taking place. Then, seconds afterwards, Indian Squaw approaches with some water for them as she approaches very slowly. Most of the time she only brings water once in a while considering that the Agua Fria River is so close right there. She is a member of the Earth Clan and she spends most of her time living near the Agua Fria River bottom.

Anyhow War Hawk decides to take a drink despite the conquistadors and their presence among the arrastras. As he takes a good long drink, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza gathers the gold nuggets that were hidden from him.

For a moment Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza looks at them wondering if there are any other gold nuggets that they may have taken from him before previously in the past. However he tries to forget about it as Indian Squaw makes her way over towards the other arrastra workers to aid them in their troubling times.

And just before Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza makes his way back in to the Spanish Quarters to inspect some of the progress of the mining operation, he yells out to the other conquistadors saying, “Keep an eye out on them!”

Now things seem to be swinging back to the old ways where there were fewer leniencies with the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Spaniards from Spain. Meanwhile the other conquistadors such as Conquistador Rafael get ready to swing back revert back to the days of old as he finishes tying up Arrastra Boy’s hands just the same as the other partners of his.

Right away Conquistador Riguel and Conquistador Miguel decide to head back to the mule stall while a few of the other conquistadors remain on horse such as Conquistador Guard Federico and Conquistador Pedro who remain at full lance stance to keep them all in line as they all head back to their arrastras to work some more further. Next Conquistador Rafael decides to hang around near the edge of the Spanish Quarters which is only so many yards away from the third arrastra.

At first, before War Hawk motivates his endeavors with his whip, he looks down to check on some of his chucks which he had made here and there as preparations for what is about to come. Basically they are some heavier rock material that he has found that will make an excellent weapon against the conquistadors considering that really don’t have much to begin with.

However they do have some things that they have made at the top of the tell mound such as tomahawks and projectile points fastened to some spears. They also have made off with making many large harpoon based weapons that have been made for other than fishing for bass or trout within the Agua Fria River.

As he looks at his chuck which are scattered around in a few piles here and there, the Conquistador Guard Federico moves towards the arrastra with his horse and lance causing him to look away back to his mule. Quickly War Hawk whips his mule a few times driving him around faster as he grabs some rock conglomerate from out of a small pile that River Badger and Water Badger had brought some time earlier.

In the meantime, Conquistador Pedro continues on pushing Brown Badger and Arrastra Boy as Conquistador Rafael decides to get on his horse and give them both a hand to make a good day’s retribution of their treasures. The Conquistador Felipe watches from the west side of the mule stall along the fence watching while keeping the mules from getting too excited.

Inside the Spanish Quarters Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza inspects his findings while deciding how he ought to look out after things much better as far as pushing the arrastra workers to work rather than mess around out there.

At the top of the tell mound many members of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Tribe have been laying low behind the grassy hills and the piles of rocks that they have built up within the basalt rocks that are strewn throughout the area. After watching the scene of the conquistadors interrogating the arrastra workers from a bird’s eye view from atop the rock faces across the Agua Fria River, Lightning Sky makes a comment to the other members of his family saying, “Looks like they are really serious at working them down!”

With some sympathy for them as they all wait out and abide their time, his little son Lightning Strike, who had witnessed the entire seen, makes a comment blabbing, “The conquistadors tied their hands together.”

Right away, Spirited Sky picks up a rock that is fairly small while she acts like she’s going to throw it saying, “Let’s throw some rocks at the conquistadors!”

Immediately Happy Song grabs her hand holding it back saying, “No, their time will come soon enough!”

At just about that time, Ravianna and Little Swan are becoming furious as they have trouble waiting for the Rain People to show as the early afternoon is nearing full swing. The first word to come is from Little Swan who feels desperately in the mood to act as she remarks, “We have to do something!”

“We wait!” This is what Ravianna says trying to hold them back with a little patience in the matter nonetheless.

Now Little Dream Catcher approaches and looks down the rock face with a quick glimpse before mentioning, “They tied all of their hands together for stealing gold!”

After thinking about it for another second or so, Dream Catcher wonders why they would resort to stealing gold at this time when they are close to have a final encounter with them asking, “Why would they want to steal gold when the Rain People are coming to help us be free once again?”

While Chief Tomahawk prepares to put on his war paint which is starting to look pretty intense while also hiding his identity, he counter acts Dream Catcher’s question saying, “They are just doing what they have to do so that the Rain People can catch them all off guard!”

By then, Little Dream Catcher is curious as to how to get some war paint down to her husband and the other arrastra workers commenting, “Well we need to catch them off guard so that we can sneak them all some war paint so they can sneak down to the river to hide their faces!”

With some wits and brains with being the one to volunteer, Sunny Horizons decides to take the challenge suggesting, “Let me go! I’ll bring them some food so that none of them think anything of it and then I’ll sneak them the pouches war paint.”

After thinking things over for a moment, Little Dream Catcher agrees, although she wants things done a certain way saying, “Okay, but stop off with Indian Squaw for a conversation before approaching any of the arrastra workers!”

Right away, Sunny Horizons steps back a few steps and nearly in to a sand painting that Dream Catcher is making as she says, “You stepped on the sand painting!”

Immediately Sunny Horizons comes back with an over protective attitude saying, “Oh, just fix it because it will be brushed away by the evening!”

Then as she leaves a few members of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam begin to talk about the Woman of Heaven as Father Hawk says to some of the Indian children, “When she arrives, she is here for the bringing of the Conquering Chief unto the testimony of Jesus Christ our savior, but she is also here to remove the conquistadors while hiding the testimony from them.”

Moments later Little Songbird asks a question prompting, “Will she arrive as mother and child?”

Next another answer comes from Chief Tomahawk as he makes the following response saying, “No, she will arrive alone, although she will arrive with many and then she will leave alone!”

After hearing that Father Hawk adds some words saying to the children, “There are too few of us to take on the conquistadors alone with those four legged beasts that they ride with those long lances that are sharp and can reach a good distance!”

Once Sunny Horizons finds some food to take down to the arrastra workers, Spark of Light approaches with something to give to her saying, “I have some dried fry bread that my mother gave me to give to Sunny Horizons!”

Straightaway Happy Song mentions how she has just left with some fry bread already saying, “She already left with some!”

Just then, Spark of Light’s mother Spark of Fire arrives, saying, “She shouldn’t be going down there by herself!”

Quickly Little Dream Catcher steps in telling her, “Yes, she has to go alone so that we can supply them with their war paint before we all rush down there!”

Meanwhile down the rock face, Conquistador Felipe has teamed up talking with Conquistador Pablo. Most of the time Conquistador Pablo usually remains at the east end of the mule stalls waiting for anyone mule loads that may arrive unexpectedly.

The current conversation at hand starts off with Conquistador Felipe mentioning about how the arrastra workers may be stealing from them all saying, “I figured that those Indian workers were stealing gold from us?”

With an angry look on his face Conquistador Pablo wonders how long they have been stealing from them asking, “How long have they been stealing from us?”

And it’s hard to say as Conquistador Felipe thinks about that thought for a moment or so as he comes back retorting, “It’s hard to say. This was the first time we caught them stealing I think!”

Of course, Conquistador Pablo feels that they should have let up on them by giving them any room such as leniencies that were granted from Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza as he says, “That’s what happens when you let your guard up on people especially these Indians!”

By now, Conquistador Felipe figures that they will have a harder time filling the next mule load on time before the next mule train arrives saying, “Well, our next mule load may take a while longer to cargo up!”

Meanwhile at the top of the tell mound, Father Hawk notices some conquistadors approaching in the mere distance over the hill along the “Old Spanish Trail” that is many mule packs long as he rants out loud, “Look another mule train is arriving!”

After hearing Father Hawk says those words and point, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam wonder why more Spaniards are arriving instead of the Rain People as Chief Tomahawk correlates with them all, “The next arrival will be of the Rain People!”

Just then, Sunny Horizons returns after walking only a short distance down the mountain crest towards the Badger Springs Trail. In fact, as she approached only a short distance she had seen one of the conquistadors point his lance towards Indian Squaw stepping her back a few feet which caused her to stop and turn back for that matter. Of course, now there are too many conquistadors around for her to make an approach in order to give any of the arrastra workers any food and supplies.

When Sunny Horizons returns, she approaches the other members of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Tribe saying, “There are too many conquistadors down there at the arrastras to do anything. And they look angry because one of them pointed their lance at Indian Squaw causing her to step back a few feet and then she headed back to the river.”

Furthermore Father Hawk is pretty smart figuring that his son War Hawk must have tried to sneak some gold off saying, “They must have been caught stealing gold and that’s why their hands are tied up!”

Right then, Little Dream Catcher looks down there noticing some of the conquistadors such as Conquistador Federico pushes and driving them along with his lance at full stance as she speaks out with, “Maybe I should go down there and see what’s going on with all of the harsh punishment?”

There’s no doubt that she shouldn’t go alone with all of the action that has taken place which brings White Snowflake Hohokam Indian in the mood to want go along with her as she says, “Let me go down there with you!”

But then of course, the Conquering Chief feels that she should wait until the Rain People arrive before making an approach down below at the arrastras as he comments afterwards, “It would be better to wait for the Rain People to arrive as our aid!”

Finally Little Dream Catcher feels that he’s right answering back, “Yes, maybe we should wait and then all go down there together!”

Of course, Dream Catcher wonders if they are getting hungry by now saying, “They must be getting hungry by now. Just go back down there and give Indian Squaw the food to give to them!”

A few seconds later, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indians begin to get excited as they notice that the Rain People have arrived, although they are slowly sneaking up around the hills surrounding the arrastras. Most of them duck hiding while the Conquering Chief continues standing tall while looking out and over the site from above the rock face just south of there.

Right away, Father Hawk makes note of their arrival as they all prepare to march in to take over the mining camp of Badger Springs Trail saying, “There’s no need to go down there alone; the Rain People are here now!”

Down below War Hawk notices the Bow of Man looking out from some of the Jojoba oil plants, jumping cactuses, and other wild shrubs that are growing immensely throughout the area there. Quickly he starts to whip his mule around a little faster than usual trying to distract Conquistador Rafael as he moves in a little closer towards the first arrastra with his horse and lance towards his face. Meanwhile Conquistador Guard Federico has worked his way down to the second arrastra pushing Brown Badger along.

Up above the rock face, some of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam is still hiding behind the rock piles as Little Dream Catcher light up some sage brush which begins to smelter as she sets the flaming sage out while setting it down in a basalt fire pit kilter.

Meanwhile Conquistador Pedro looks up noticing some of the smoke pour up in to the sky from the rock face across the Agua Fria River. By now, Conquistador Juan who has been watching all of the arrastras from the side as Conquistador Pedro pushes Arrastra Boy at the third arrastra notices as well. All of the conquistadors look at each other with a bit of confusion wondering what the smoke is all about.

Then at the east end of the arrastra, the mule pack team has arrived as Conquistador Ernesto and Conquistador Esteban arrives wondering what all of the smoke is pouring from above the rock face.

Once they reach the entrance to the corral of the mule stalls, Conquistador Esteban looks up at the smoke from the sage brush asking the other conquistadors, “What’s that smoke up there all about?”

Of course, Conquistador Pablo is the first to make a comment about it saying to them both, “Ese no es nada.”

To make them both feel better Conquistador Felipe carries on about how they have just been celebrating for the past few days saying, “Oh, don’t worry about that because the Indians have been celebrating some harvesting ceremony for the past several days!”

Next Conquistador Pablo carries on about how they were also caught stealing and hiding some gold correlating, “They were also caught stealing from us so the next mule load may take longer than normal.”

Finally Conquistador Ernesto wonders about that remarking; “Is that so, they were caught stealing gold?”

Meanwhile at the top of the tell mound Little Dream Catcher decides to make the first approach down below while things are still mellow with the Rain People hiding in the distance past the hill tops. She takes a few supplies tucked away in a burlap satchel and then takes the food that she had taken from Sunny Horizons saying, “I’ll make the first approach and then once I sneak over the other way towards the petroglyphs signal them so that she is safe to approach the end of the “Old Spanish Trail” where I’ll be waiting by the marking of the white cross!”

Before she leaves, White Snowflake Hohokam Indian is ready to follow considering that she is one of the acts to perform along with preparing the Woman of Heaven for the “Witch Catch” saying, “I’ll follow behind from a distance ahead of the others.”

Immediately Little Dream Catcher leaves making her way down the crest of the mountainous rise that towers over the mining camp below. Afterwards many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam gathers their weapons such as tomahawks, spears, and stone chucks which are some heavy rocks which work excellent when thrown.

They also all start to prepare their faces in war paint so that they can conceal their identities from the conquistador when they attack. Most of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indian children are ready once the right time has come. They are already to retaliate with their faces slightly war painted with different colors and designs representing their tribal clans and family images.

CHAPTER SEVEN

Immediately Little Dream Catcher makes her descent down from the top of the tell mound and down to the arrastras. When she reach the bottom of Badger Springs Trail, she glances over towards the petroglyphs written and inscribed on the rock face before turning her eye the other way across the Agua Fria River. At that moment she becomes a little fearful, although she has the Morning Sun and her prayers from her days of solitude within her rock shelter which is to help save and cleanse her thoughts as she progresses forward towards the site.

Once she reaches the third arrastra which is the furthest from the Spanish Quarters, Conquistador Pedro and Conquistador Juan stare her down as she walks past and towards the third arrastra. Once she passes the second arrastra, Conquistador Guard Federico watches wondering what she’s up to, although she has some food with her that she brought so none of them say too much.

Moments later she reaches the third arrastra with her husband War Hawk who has his hands tied with ropes from being caught from stealing some nuggets of gold, although in his own mind he only hid them temporary. Nevertheless Little Dream Catcher looks at Conquistador Rafael wondering if she can ask him if she can give them all meals for the late morning before noon time arrives in a few hours or so.

As she watches War Hawk pick a few gold nuggets from out of the arrastra from a few yards away as he places them in a burlap sack, she asks Conquistador Rafael, “May I have permission to supply my husband and the other arrastra workers with a meal?”

The Conquistador Rafael figures that it’s alright considering that they have been working hard since they were all caught sneaking away with their hiding some good size nuggets here and there, although they must have been getting greedy lately as he comes back saying, “Dar a todos ellos su comida y ir.”

Finally she hands her husband War Hawk some Indian Fry Bread that she had made along with some pieces of corn that was prepared earlier. However she doesn’t have any meat to make it a meal of protein such as maize, although they are struggling with their crops as it is lately with only the rains in the winters and summers during the monsoons.

As she hands her husband War Hawk his meal, he says to her, “We were all caught stealing some gold so they are punishing us for it! Just go and I’ll be home after dark”

Quickly Little Dream Catcher turns and leaves heading over towards the second arrastra in order to give Brown Badger his meal while Conquistador Guard Federico watches the entire time with a quiet tongue thankfully. Next she heads down to the third arrastra only to hand Arrastra Boy his meal as they both remain quiet with only a slight of eye in order to hand him his meal for the early morning before noontime arrives in a few hours.

Swiftly she signals River Badger and Water Badger to approach in order to have a meal before all hell breaks loose. Also River Badger and Water Badger approach to pick up some meals of their own while trying to act normal, although they are embarrassed and shameful from things not going smoothly earlier today.

As she walks away Conquistador Pedro watches with a full stare as she swings down past the island of trees that lies down towards the west of the arrastras before the Agua Fria River bends northeast. When she reaches the scatter of trees, she stops for a while acting as though she is getting some water as Conquistador Juan watches until she starts drinking some water and washing her face off a bit.

Momentarily she starts to put some of her war paint make-up on as she remains bent over along the Agua Fria River. After she finishes placing and putting her war face paint on, she stands up and starts to head over towards the petroglyphs where the white cross marks the end of the “Old Spanish Trail” across the Agua Fria River.

While crossing the Agua Fria River walking over towards the petroglyphs she refrains from looking back. Once she approaches the petroglyphs and stops standing in front of the white cross marking the end of the “Old Spanish Trail” she takes out some limestone acting as though she’s ready to make an inscription of some kind.

Meanwhile Conquistador Pedro and Conquistador Juan take a glance her way for a brief moment before turning back to their work at hand with driving the arrastra workers along. For some reason that think nothing of it except for the sage brush that has been burning, although they all figure it’s part of the rite belonging to their harvesting ceremonies.

Moments later Little Dream Catcher has a visitor step down from the rock face above sneaking down when all of the conquistadors and their back seemed to be turned. In fact, the visitor is the “Woman of Heaven” in the flesh which has made the Jesus Way Ceremony most complete so far.

Of course, the “Woman of Heaven” is accompanied with her friend Anasazi Wind Dancer who follows her along the descent down about twenty feet or so below to the base of the rock face. However she stands a few feet back with her face towards the rock face displaying an image of the dragon on her back which sort of resembles that of a Sunbird, Firebird, or a Phoenix.

Then there’s no doubt that a few of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam approach the rock face too such as White Snowflake Hohokam Indian who has a special addition to her make-ups such as a snowflake powder that she has made especially for this part of the three day Jesus Way Ceremony. Also Sunny Horizons follows to add some adornments along with her outfit that will be lavish addressing her as the “Witch Catcher.”

Still the Rain People haven’t shown their faces yet even though the Ynana has shown forth and neither have the Southwest Tonto Hohokam except for a few Indian maidens such as Little Dream Catcher, White Snowflake Hohokam Indian, and Sunny Horizons. In the meantime Indian Squaw finds her way there as a lookout just in case the conquistadors happen to notice them all standing there.

And without any further hesitations, Ynana places her rocks that are charged with the light of Jesus as her breastplate making her a High Priestess. Quickly Little Dream Catcher offers her the gift of her dream catcher with the words “Witch Catcher” inscribed and written within the webbing of a fiery colored fabric with red and orange feathers.

Once the dream catcher is around her neck along with the shirt of stones, Little Dream Catcher starts to tattoo the inscription with a bright bluish ink with the cactus needle that was given to her by Mother Hawk that was made from a cactus thorn. And she makes no mistake considering that she knows the astrological associations with these minerals as well as the names of them so that she can make and dress her adornments to completion. Also the prayers of the Morning Sun have shown forth as she ends up showing her presence finally to meet the one and only “Witch Catcher” that they have waited for all of this time.

The first astrological stone is worded and tattooed fast and complete as her hand moves towards the next stroke. Now that the word jasper has been written in blue tattoo ink, the next stone has fixated her eyes bringing a piece of sardius stone up next on the list. However there are a dozen stones to tattoo and she’s only on to her first few while White Snowflake powders her face in preparation for her war paint patterns.

Then all of a sudden there’s the sound of horses coming from a distance just past the mule stall and horse stables which are interconnected together. Furthermore none of the Indian maidens take their minds off of what they are doing considering that they know they are in good hands with the Rain People being within very close proximity.

However when the other conquistadors from up river come riding in hard, it catches everyone’s attention especially Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza and Conquistador Prophet Ramon who have been inside the Spanish Quarters. They have been inside wondering what to do with their next mule load even though they haven’t come out to meet up with the men from the mule train such as Conquistador Ernesto and Conquistador Esteban.

The moment Conquistador Fernando arrives at the horse corral, he shouts at the other conquistadors yelling out, “There are lots of Indians coming this way!”

While twirling around on horse wondering what to do, Conquistador Raul and Conquistador Padre are wondering just the same as they look around about the surrounding hills. Then quickly the Rain People hold back for another moment as Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza comes out of his Spanish Quarters only to walk around the corner. Immediately Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza sees the Conquering Chief standing on the hill with a glare from the sun of Jesus blocking his views while crossing his eyes.

Of course, he stares for a slight moment or so bringing the verse, “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns, ten crowns and upon his head the name of blasphemy (Rev 13:1).”

And as the conquering chief continues on staring down the hill another verse follows, “And the beast which I saw was unto a leopard, and his feet were unto a bear, and his mouth the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (Rev 13:2).”

Then Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza turns the other way noticing the Rain People with their bows and arrows drawn as the Bow of Man stands amongst them holding his hands down signaling them to hold their bow and arrows down so that the Southwest Tonto Hohokam can start their initiative with going further ahead with the ordeal.

For a brief moment he looks around invoking an additional verse, “And I looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him a hundred an forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads (Rev14:1).”

And then he notices the Rain People with many bows as a verse follows, “And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: (Rev: 14:2).”

Nevertheless as they hold their bows as though they were harps more inspirational words come, “And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth (Rev: 14:3).”

At that moment, as he turns back the other way focusing in on the Conquering Chief, a hailstorm of rocks comes tumbling down hitting all around him and the mule stall and horse corral. Hurriedly the Southwest Tonto Hohokam rush down the crest of the mountain side making their way straight down towards Badger Springs Trail.

Right then, War Hawk spits out his last bits of food as he pushes Conquistador Rafael’s lance from out of his face as he is held back from the aggressions of the moment. Following War Hawk’s stunt, Brown Badger does the same by pushing Conquistador Guard Federico away once he had come too close with his lance trying to hold him back from all of the action happening around.

Meanwhile River Badger and Water Badger, who have been laying low trying to act nonchalant about the entire ordeal of them all being caught for stealing, manages to lay low while sneaking off with some supplies from Indian Squaw for themselves and the other arrastra workers as well. Of course, they have been laying low within the holes dug within the Agua Fria River bed where they have been bringing up conglomerate ores.

Once they see that the other arrastra workers are breaking free, River Badger picks up a few good size rocks that he ends up throwing at Conquistador Guard Federico, Conquistador Juan, and Conquistador Pedro. The first rock he throws hits Conquistador Pedro’s horse causing his horse to start buckling the other way away from the Rain people who have gathered around the walls of the canyon.

With much confusion happening everywhere Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza turns his head around noticing all of the Rain People surrounding the area. So far they are only standing there watching with quiet tongues as the entire group of conquistadors looks wondering what to do next.

Immediately Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza heads inside his Spanish Quarters taking a type of satchel bag that has a binder with some of his important papers inside. However there are many other things he leaves while trying to scrimmage around really fast trying to get out of there in a hurry. So far, he realizes there’s nothing much they can do considering that they are completely surrounded and that it had happened so very fast.

The moment he exits his Spanish Quarters, Tesoro De Castallanza glances about the tops of the canyon walls noticing how there are more Indians than he and his men are prepared to deal with. As he looks towards the arrastras, he sees Conquistador Rafael trying to catch after War Hawk on horse while he has darted his way over past the tree line where the other arrastra workers have gone to run for cover. Immediately they all help untie the hands of one another so that they can be free of their ropes as a form of chattel slavery.

Yet the other Spanish men such as Conquistador Pedro and Conquistador Juan are turning back with their lances drawn behind them as they start to retreat back towards the Spanish Quarters. In a hurried fashion, the Conquistador Prophet Ramon looks around to all of the Rain People who have taken the mining camp by storm realizing that it’s time to flee the scene.

At that time, the Conquistador Prophet Ramon looks to the Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza saying, “We better go; there’s too many of them!”

Before turning away towards the mule stall and horse corral, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza takes another look around and towards the arrastras as many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam have slowed down at the end of the Badger Springs Trail just about twenty to thirty feet or so away from where the Woman of Heaven is nearly prepared for her “Witch Hunt.”

Many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam are slowly crossing while the conquistadors all scramble around wondering how to gain control with an over escalating scene that is getting worse by the second. Moments later, War Hawk and his amigos have finished putting on their war paint within a dug pit behind some boulders that have been dug out for conglomerate ore.

Now all of the arrastra workers have different colored facial war paint masquerades on with the river workers dressed in red while the other three arrastra workers are decorated with green facial paint. They also are armed with a few tomahawks and some good size chucks that will definitely do some damage.

Once they are ready to proceed with caution as they all climb out of the ditch and out from the boulders in the river, War Hawk commands, “Let’s go get our gold back!”

Straight forth all three arrastra workers start to run with tomahawks drawn back up towards the Spanish Quarters as Tesoro De Castallanza makes his way towards the west end of the mule stall. So far Conquistador Guard Federico stays behind along with Conquistador Pedro who decides to turn back only to see three green faces running directly at him.

It seems that Conquistador Rafael stopped chasing after War Hawk while waiting behind the trees placing most of his attention over towards Ynana while Anasazi Wind Dancer adorns her with her decked out headdress. Immediately Conquistador Rafael tries to turn back after the river workers who are chasing Conquistador Juan who has turned back flanking the scene.

Then the rest of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam begin to make their way crossing the Agua Fria River storming their way towards the arrastras, the Spanish Quarters, and the mule stall. At that moment, Conquistador Esteban and Conquistador Ernesto have quickly loaded up their mule train with whatever they could while releasing the rest of the mules free.

That’s when the Rain People step in charging down the tops of the hill crest racing in to the Agua Fria River Canyon. It seems that Conquistador Felipe and Conquistador Pablo have loaded up as many supplies as they could on horse while Conquistador Riguel and Conquistador Miguel prepare the horses. At first they had prepared their own horses for themselves and then they quickly prepared a horse for Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza and the Conquistador Prophet Ramon. Luckily some of their horses are kept ready to ride just in case something like this was going to happen, although this was one of those particular times that they weren’t completely prepared ahead of time.

While Tesoro De Castallanza tries to make his way in to the horse corral War Hawk closely catches up from a short distance throwing his chuck right at him. Without any warning the chuck hits Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza and his Spanish armor in the goldish colored Spanish Conquistador Helmet making a loud steel banging sound that was heard by many. In fact, his Spanish armor is such an outfit that it distinguishes him from the other conquistadors with a few differences.

In a hurried fashion the Conquistador Prophet Ramon moves towards the chuck a few feet picking it up and throwing it back. For now Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza staggers onward towards his horse while almost dropping his important belongings as he puts them in a satchel bag fastened to his horse.

During their retreat, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam atop the rock face are still throwing what they can, although many of them are out of range. However the Conquering Chief manages to make a few good throws and one ends up hitting Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza in the back while he staggers getting control of a frantic horse.

For a while there even Dream Catcher and Ravianna and many of the other Southwest Tonto Hohokam maidens add to the action throwing some rocks at them themselves. Of course, most of them miss most of the time, although they are doing a pretty good job of adding in to the confusion. Then on the other hand, they have made a few good nabs hitting some of the conquistadors, although now there are too many Southwest Tonto Hohokam and Rain people storming in to the place.

And with all of this confusion, Conquistador Fernando, Conquistador Raul, and Conquistador Padre are trying to hold them off so that they still have a chance with getting out of there alive. Moreover this means leaving this field alive, although they want to leave with some of their gold profits as well.

In a hurried like frenzy, Conquistador Tesoro has finally retreated a good distance. He has retreated away along with the Conquistador Prophet Ramon who has turned back making a quick note of something that Conquistador Rafael has dropped while trying to flee the scene. It seems that he has dropped a burlap sack of gold ore and it’s most imperative to get what they possible can before leaving.

Immediately Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza notices while yelling out quickly as he notices a few conquistador fighting their way out of there on horse saying out loud, “The gold…………..go back and grab that sack of ore!”

The Conquistador Rafael turns back quickly while the Rain People are storming their way towards them, although it seems that everything is in slow motion as he jumps off of his horse as quickly as he can grabbing the burlap sack. And fast like he jumps back on his horse as War Hawk comes approaching from behind Conquistador Miguel and Conquistador Riguel who are only a few yards behind Conquistador Rafael. Yet it seems that Conquistador Esteban and Conquistador Ernesto aren’t going to make as many Rain People begin to swarm around them both.

Next as Conquistador Rafael turns back towards the east, he hears the sounds of steel clanging as War Hawk and Arrastra Boy wail two of them with their tomahawks while both making a paired throw while storming passed the mule stalls. Then as the Conquistador Rafael turns seeing Conquistador Miguel and Conquistador Riguel stagger on their horses while trying to ride away.

Finally Conquistador Rafael ends up throwing the burlap sack of golden ores over to the Conquistador Prophet Ramon who catches it from a short distance away. Conquistador Felipe and Conquistador Pablo flank War Hawk from the north side nearly running them both down as they pass them up and continue on, although Conquistador Pablo turns back to see if he can be of any help. Of course, Brown Badger has another part to their departure as he ends up throwing whatever rocks he can pick up while running along as fast as he can without tumbling down.

After getting a good number of yards away, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza is ready to turn the other way giving up his prize possession of a mining camp, although he wishes he would have had more men than he has had since the beginning. It seems that he has had too many men traveling in-between here and the Galveston Bay taking as many mule loads of gold through his other mining camps such as the one near where Juarez and El Paso are located.

Nevertheless he watches as many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam over run his Spanish Quarters ransacking it and taking it over completely along with the arrastras. It seems that Conquistador Padre has slipped away as he makes his way towards where they all have gathered a distance away watching the rest of the scenes unfold, although they aren’t too far away except for about thirty five yards away or so.

For a moment there, Conquistador Guard Federico fluttered around with his lance along with the fact that he is on his horse which gave him an advantage along with his gear which has some protection to it. Also it seems that the Rain People have projectile points that are just as large as the ones made by the Paleo-Indians, although they seem to be having some reason for being easy on them. But that’s only because they have the “Witch Catcher” to finish the job of removing them considering that’s what she’s hear for along with harnessing the powers of Jesus Christ and his testimony.

For a moment as they all turn back for a moment or so and watch, it appears that maybe that the Conquistador Guard Federico may have had a chance at getting away by trying to circle back the other way, although there are too many Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indians running around down inside the Agua Fria River stretching down towards the rock face behind the Spanish Quarters out of their view.

Then quickly, just when they look towards the south, another band of Southwest Tonto Hohokam come up around the corner from down near the next bend of the Agua Fria River which meanders back down south after turning back east behind the Spanish Quarters. Straight forth they all turn around as many of them catch up from the south forcing them all to turn and head back east towards the other side of the hill stretching further in to the “Old Spanish Trail” which follows in to Chavez Pass within the Tonto National Forest.

Once they turn around making their way towards the top of the hill, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam hit them with as much as they possibly can before they all speed ahead of them on horse. Every one of them takes a hit as they all pass even closer towards the crest of the hill making their closer with traveling way east towards the Verde River and beyond in to the Mogollon Rim and New Mexico.

Of course, River Badger and Water Badger are the ones who had decided to round up a few Indians and while trying to cut them off all of by chance. Once the conquistadors make their way further through the jumping cactus that is all over the place, the band of Southwest Tonto Hohokam slows down to stop except for a few that continue running after them only to scare them off further.

Eventually they all calm down and turn back realizing that everything else should be left to the “Witch Catcher” now with continuing on with the chase through thorns in order to chase after them all. And as they turn back, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indians such as the Conquering Chief finally make their way down from the top of the rock face in order to meet Ynana before she leaves for her pursuit which has its own part of a love story which sort ends up in seduction.

Once down near the end of the “Old Spanish Trail” where the white cross resides as a petroglyph, the Conquering Chief takes another inscribing rock to cross out one of the heads of his three headed petroglyph which is of a dog with three heads. Finally one of his heads has been cut off which is the head of being a conquistador. And soon the next head will be cut off which allows the conquistador group to have the power of a prophet.

However when the last head of the dog with three heads is left, the conquistador will only have a head left for his being fond of the “Witch Catcher” which will help hide the testimony of Jesus Christ our savior. And then she will be able to harness those powers against them as she continues on with her spiritual rite of passage.

Moments later all of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People gather around ready to make changes for this site as far as a jewelry standpoint is for trading. The Conquering Chief has finally made the chance to get to meet or acquaint himself with the Woman of Heaven who has come in order to give her presence known. She is also there to bring forth the testimony of Jesus Christ unto the man-child ceremony.

At first, the Conquering Chief approaches her while the Indian maidens complete their final touches to adorning her wardrobe as the “Witch Catcher” to continue on with the pursuit of drawing and chasing them out of the northern hemisphere. Many of the other Southwest Tonto Hohokam approach to get to close to her as they remain quiet while she concentrates on the job at hand.

So far, the conquistadors that have made their way closer towards the top of the stretch of the crest and she will have to catch up pretty fast to cover the distance. As she nodes to all of the people that she has met, Little Dream Catcher gives a last touch with one of her tattoos that she has inscribed as she leaves running through the crowd ready to snare them all in her trap that they have planned out for some time now.

Quickly everyone moves out of the way as many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam lastly gets the chance to at least touch her considering that she has remained fairly quiet in preparation for the moment. All of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People have blocked the view by forming a crowd like wall. And many of them start to pray along with the Morning Sun who has been praying the last few days and as well throughout the entire third day of the Jesus Way Ceremony.

And at last, she is off making her way down from the rock ledge where the petroglyphs and pictographs have all told their stories. As she leaves all of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People stand out of the way just before she reaches the spot directly ahead of her in order to hide her from view until she clears the crowd.

Now before getting too far away from them back at the rock face, Anasazi Wind Dancer yells out, “Go get them girly!”

While slowly reaching further up the hill, one of the conquistadors’ looks back behind them all seeing nothing but a bunch of feathers such as ornamental clothing coming their way at a fast speed. Of course, he thinks nothing of it considering that the rest of the Indians aren’t doing anything but cheering and yelling out loud which has turned from the horrors of growling to applauding more or less.

Moments later as the crowd of Southwest Tonto Hohokam and Rain People allow her enough room to dart through unseen; she comes out towards the open with their back turned just before the top of the crest of the hill. During this lapse of time while moving slowly through the rest of the jumping cactus they have thrown themselves off of the “Old Spanish Trail” a tinge towards the north.

At that point, the Woman of Heaven catches up to them while their concentration was off guard for a few moments or so as she persists with making her last many yards before being within palms distance of on their tail. Luckily for their sake, the Conquistador Prophet Ramon hears her footsteps approaching as he turns looking back seeing her which causes him to react with a loud yell commanding his horse to move ahead faster yelling out, “Yah!”

Quickly he kicks his horse at the same time which leaps him further ahead a few feet as the rest of the conquistadors follow suit plowing through everything in their path such as jumping cactus and any other obstructions. For a moment there, the “Witch Catcher” is only inches away from the Conquistador Prophet Ramon and his horse’s tails as he pulls away from her while trying to out run her. He continues out running her like he was a bat flying out of hell which is only a simile to things in to perspective.

And as they all cross over the top of the crest of the hill, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam as well as the Rain People really start to let out their cheers from watching the spectacle. Soon many of the Indian members end up running their way back up the hill only to watch them all as they drift away out of sight. Of course, this is only to make sure that she has intimidated them all with her charming looks and mysterious powers.

Seconds later, the “Witch Catcher” maintains her closeness while keeping up to them as they start to pick up speed trying out run her. For a moment though it seems as though she’s about to catch up to them, although they all whip their horses in to high gear treading ahead of her a few good yards.

Just at about that time, many of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and Rain People reach the top of the hill crest noticing them drift back down the next hill as they enter in to another ravine. Straight forth they all start cheering and hollering as they reach the next slight hill which has a steep enough gradient which ends up slowing them down a bit.

Finally she has another chance to catch up to them as they all start yelling and commanding their horses to pick up the pace even more as the riding gets tougher. So far their horses are not only frightened from all of the action that has stirred them up, but they are already feeling the plunge as they ride on.

Quickly she starts to catch up to the Conquistador Prophet Ramon as he continues right at the back of the conquistador group while pushing them all ahead further. Once they make their way up towards the middle of the crest of the next hill face, the “Witch Catcher” makes it an appropriate time to pull out some side whips that she starts to swing around her sides. Straight away she starts to spin around as fast as she can while aiming towards the Conquistador Prophet Ramon’s back as she tries to catch up to him as they slow down a bit.

Back at the top of the previous hill, all of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People are watching and cheering as she starts to catch up to the Conquistador Prophet Ramon. And when she does she ends up with giving one good whack to his back which bounces across pelting him as returns his head around while side kicking his horse even faster yelling out. Immediately all of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and Rain People are excited from seeing her finally make contact which sort of has stammered their confidences of getting away completely.

Of course, for some reason many of them start whistling and screaming uncanny sounds as they start to make their way towards the top of the hill crest back towards the “Old Spanish Trail” dodging every jumping cholla cactus that is immerered in different patterns slowing them all down an immense amount. And after a few more steps around some more obstacles, the “Witch Catcher” swats the Conquistador Prophet Ramon another good one across his back almost near his shoulder blades which causes him to pull his bridle over the other way to get away from her.

Shortly thereafter they all make their way over the top of the second hill crest as they start to pull further away from her as they begin to make their way back onto the “Old Spanish Trail” little by little. Most of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People are still cheering and screaming her on as she keeps up pretty good considering the type of terrain she’s up against such as the desert landscapes are concerned.

Soon they all start to slowly become further and further away as to her friends left behind; they all look smaller and smaller as they get further away. Moments later, the conquistadors start to pick up speed as they all glance back here and there at her as she continues on running nearly as fast as they are running, although their horses can run a little faster along the stretches of the “Old Spanish Trail” which has been smoothed down over time.

And no matter how much they pull ahead, she continues on with her fastest pace in order to keep up the distance. However within minutes they start to get a good leap on her as they enter in to another ravine which starts to slow them down once again, although they are trying to keep up a good pace now that they are on the “Old Spanish Trail” where they should be within their fleeing chase of a run.

Lastly the group of conquistadors begins to really move a lot faster as the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People continue watching even though they are only specs in the distance showing up only at the tops of every hill crest in sight. Next the Conquistador Prophet Ramon decides to turn around once she reaches the top of the next hill crest a distance back a ways while stopping.

After he slows down and stops, he decides to give her a token of their affections considering that they left with what they could as he pulls out a good size garnet for the showing. And just before she gets too close within range since they are a good distance away, the Conquistador Prophet Ramon starts to turn back as he flings the garnet up in the air making sure that she she’s it with no problems whatsoever marking his “Weight of a Talent.”

Quickly thereafter, he sidekicks his white horse and takes off again ready to catch up to the distance between him and the other men. Moments later he rides off looking back continually as she arrives at the place where the garnet landed as she slows down and stops. Right away, she picks it up as it sparkles and shines in the sun considering that the garnet had been somehow tumbled and shined up as a showcase piece.

CHAPTER EIGHT

Immediately after staring down the red garnet that the Conquistador Prophet Ramon had thrown out from one of his leather satchels that he had, she decides to put it away in her gris-gris bag that she has also tied around her neck. Then she ties her gris-gris-bag tightly together with its band so that all of her lucky medallions and charms of good luck can be safely with her.

So far she is pretty decked out with all of her tattoos and decorations which are in admirations of the Lord and his handy work. Next she looks on down the “Old Spanish Trail” as she focuses back in on the distance that they have gained over on her considering that they have something over on her as far as the trail is concerned.

Once she focuses in she can hear their horse a good distance from her separated by a short distance of space in which she considers nothing. Also she can hear the yells and screams of her Rain People Tribe and the Southwest Tonto Hohokam still rooting and cheering her on as she persists forward, although now she has made a sort of break that was fairly uncalled for in a sense.

Nevertheless she decides to move on allowing them the chance to think that maybe they have out ran and outwitted her causing her to give up completely and turn back. Then maybe on the other hand, maybe they think that they will just move on and forget about her feeling that they have passed her up a great distance.

Quickly she starts to pick up speeds that aren’t as fast as theirs, but fast enough to keep up and perhaps catch up within the many hours to pass. She feels that they will slow down and let up their guard before too long with the considerations that their horse will wear down at some point in time.

Meanwhile back at the mining camp, most of the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People have pretty much turned back. However there is still one or two who are lingering around at the top of the hill crest trying to look out some more. So far many of the Indians Southwest Tonto Hohokam back at the mining camp, are already cleaning up while deciding what else they ought to do as far as turn the place around.

Many of the Indian maidens are wondering if she will be alright out there all by herself with only herself and seven crowns none as conquistadors. But then on the other hand, she did give quite a show when leaving which tends to leave such an impression on all of them that had watched the spectacle.

Straight forth Little Dream Catcher wonders if she’ll be alright asking a loud, “I hope she’ll be alright!”

Right away, Anasazi Wind Dancer, who is her close friend and companion says, “Yes, she’ll be alright! She trained herself for this!”

Immediately the Morning Sun stops praying for a moment as she contends to the others, “She was right on them once she caught up!”

Then Sunny Horizons adds to the conversation, “Sounded like she chased them out pretty well with all of them who was cheering up there!”

Now Little Dream Catcher thinks about catching something she did that nobody else must have caught recoiling, “And she scattered her rocks along the way really quick when nobody was paying attention in the crowd!”

With the feeling of leaving them there as good luck, Indian Squaw comes out telling them all, “We should leave them all alone for good luck!”

At that time, War Hawk tries to round up all of the gold that he can. He does this thinking that they didn’t get away with all of it at least. So far he has left some matters to the other Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indians, although he has so far rounded up some of the minerals from the horse corral and mule stalls.

Next the Bow of Man approaches War Hawk and the other arrastra workers wondering what the plan for this place is asking, “So what’s the plan with this place?”

Immediately War Hawk, Arrastra Boy, and Brown Badger start to think about some of their plans maybe as Brown Badger says to the Bow of Man, “We’re going to make a jewelry trading stand!”

Quickly Arrastra Boy butts in to the conversation stating, “Post!”

After that War Hawk tries to correct them both by saying, “A jewelry center!”

Finally the Bow of Man comes out talking about what’s on his mind saying, “Well, I don’t see them conquistadors coming back any time soon especially with a few more obstacles they have to pass through along the way!”

In the meantime back with the conquistadors, they are slowing down after treading their horses a good distance along the “Old Spanish Trail” over many hills and through the many washes near the area of Chavez Pass within the Tonto National Rain Forest. So far they are still looking back here and there without saying a word so far, almost like they were caught off guard with the entire episodic scheme of events.

Nevertheless the “Witch Catcher” continues on with the chase keeping up a good pace with her running ahead. However she has decided to follow the “Old Spanish Trail” for quite some time, although at some point in her travels she will have to go off of the trail a little in order to cut them off ahead.

And so far they feel as though a punishment of some kind is coming from something beyond their control as they become more confused as they tread on. However they hope that the worst is over, although they realize that they still have a great distance to go before they even reach any of the next stops along the “Old Spanish Trail” which stretches through the future provinces of Juarez, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas.

Soon as they continue on a voice comes from heaven saying, “And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth (Rev 16:1).”

And as the conquistadors move on the voice continues on as the first angel prepares, “And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon him that worshipped his image (Rev 16:2).”

Of course, while they continue moving on the can feel a wrath upon them as though they had worshipped some sort of image other than any image of their own religion as the voice continues, “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea (Rev 16:3).”

And now the conquistadors feel the problems of returning to the port of where their ships lie waiting to be filled with all of the lavishes and abundances of the New World as the voice continues, “And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of the waters; and they became blood (Rev 16:4).”

At that time, back at the mining camp the Southwest Tonto Hohokam and the Rain People have placed the bodies of the deceased within the rivers making peace with their Lord Jesus Christ as the voice furthers, “And I heard the angels of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shall be, because thou hast judged us (Rev16:5).”

Soon the Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza can only think about loaning them his book of Prayers to the Spanish Lords and Saints as he feels as though some sort of taboo was done as the voice goes farther saying, “For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy (Rev16:6).”

It appears that at this time, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza feels as though the conquistadors and he himself have been judged by the Southwest Tonto Hohokam as well as the Rain People as another voice comes forth saying, “And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgements (Rev 16:7).”

And for some reason their attention seems to have tuned in to the idea of how they can remember the “Witch Catcher” and her image causing them to feel the fires of damnation as another voice carries on, “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; the power was given unto him to scorch men with fire (Rev 16:8).”

During the time of moving along the “Old Spanish Trail” they all begin to feel not only damned through fire and brimstone, although they feel cursed within the name of some higher powers as the voice furthers, “And the men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory (Rev 16:9).”

Finally they are able to even feel as though there was a dark luminous cloud hanging over them, although the clouds from Jesus and his crucifixions are dark and grey as the voice moves along with, “And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, (Rev 16:10).”

And now the can feel the pains and sores cause from being pushed out from the mining camp of Badger Springs Trail along the Agua Fria River as the carries on some more saying, “And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds (Rev 16:11).”

Of course, now the conquistadors are pushed in to heading east back to the ports of the sea within the Galveston Bay as another voice comes forth telling, “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phra’-tes; and the water was therefore dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared (Rev 16:12).”

Lastly as the conquistadors remember the scenes in which had unfolded themselves in episodic like events such as the Indians covered in war paints are concerned, another voice continues on reverbing, “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet (Rev 16:13).”

In conclusion to the chain of events they all can recall the Woman of Heaven at a distance dressed with perilous intentions of some undetectable nature as another voice carries forth explaining, “For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty (Rev 16:14).”

Finally the conquistadors can only think of the arrastra workers stealing from them before all of this war like stuff had happened as the voice move along clarifying, “Behold I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he, walk naked, and they see his shame (Rev 16:15).”

Now they are tired and their horses are completely exhausted from all of the fast riding they had to do in order to get the heck out of the mining camp alive. And once they all seem to slow down and gather themselves a little, they all start to think things through as Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza comes out with some shaky words expressing, “Como te gusta que?”

As they continue riding while feeling scared and nervous from all of the tensions that have recently built up, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza comes back adding, “I’m talking about being kicked out all of a sudden?”

Immediately the Conquistador Prophet Ramon has something to add with an extremely shaken up voice saying, “We should have known something was up when those arrastra workers were stealing from us!”

And by now, most of the conquistador men are wondering who that woman was chasing behind them all dressed up and decorated like she was part of some war dance celebration or something other than that perhaps. But nonetheless, they are extremely peculiar at being chased down by someone on foot running really fast like that and especially when they think that it may have been an Indian woman on the contrary.

Soon the Conquistador Rafael comes forth about the war like figurine chasing them down querying, “And who was that Indian woman chasing us before we even made it through all of them barrel and jumping cactus before getting back to the “Old Spanish Trail” where we out ran that woman?”

After hearing the part about the barrel and jumping cactus, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza says, “Let’s stop and inspect our horses for thorns while we have a chance!”

Immediately Conquistador Felipe butts in to the conversation saying, “Whoever she was that Indian woman, she was right on Conquistador Ramon’s tail? So we’d better hurry so we can keep on moving along!”

Then from the side riding along Conquistador Riguel wonders if they lost her in their horse’s dust back there saying, “Do you think we lost her?”

Just then Conquistador Miguel can only think to the past few moments to his glancing back a few times here and there wondering who was still chasing them conversing, “Whoever that was chasing us when I glanced back a time or two isn’t here now!”

First off, the Conquistador Prophet Ramon comes out with his little flip trick to slow her down a bit explaining, “Don’t worry about her; she stopped to pick up some garnet I threw out that was polished and shiny as a ruby!”

Next Conquistador Padre can remember something regarding that considering he had glanced back a few times or so thinking that all of the Indians were still coming as he carries on with, “I remember looking back and she had stopped for some unknown reason so I turned around and just kept riding forgetting about her!”

Finally Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza is almost certain that whoever that woman was that was chasing them will be back eventually expressing, “Whoever that woman was she looked a little loco and it’s a matter of time before she comes back some mysterious way.”

By now, it has come to their attention as to how she was dressed all decked out in an array of colors which were fiery in nature, yet appealing. They even can think back to many bits and fragments of glancing that way while catching an eye of some female figure that stood out from the others, although they were too distracted to pay much attention to the individual.

However Conquistador Rafael starts thinking back to that Little Dream Catcher who came to feed her husband War Hawk and the other arrastra workers telling them all, “Whoever that woman was I remember seeing her shortly after Little Dream Catcher came down to the arrastras to feed her husband and the other arrastra workers. It was a while after Indian Squaw brought them all some water. Then I remember seeing a few females over that way, although right then Little Dream Catcher’s esposo War Hawk started up a fight and they all ran down towards the river. And after that all hell broke loose everywhere. And after that everything seemed to go by so fast up until we ditched that Indian woman!”

Immediately Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza can think back to when he was in his Spanish Quarters just after catching the arrastra workers stealing the gold answering back clarifying, “Yes, I remember hearing the commotion and when I came outside I saw the arrastra workers running in to the river with you chasing them all. Then I saw them turn around chasing Conquistador Juan back as you stopped behind the trees right there across from the creek before the Conquistador Prophet Ramon stood by while I collected all the Land Grant and Charter which I have in a small satchel.”

Moments later, Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza carries on further telling them all, “And that’s when I saw Conquistador Pedro and Conquistador Juan trying to head back to the Spanish Quarters with their lances drawn behind them trying to keep the Indians from closing in on them. Then I looked around and saw the Indians who arrived surrounding the whole entire place with their bows and arrows drawn, although they never shot at us. Mostly they only threw stuff at us and came at us with their tomahawks drawn!”

Soon the Conquistador Prophet Ramon comes in to the conversation clarifying a point or two saying, “And that’s when I said that we ought to go because there were too many of them because we were all surrounded and many of them were gathering down at the bottom of the creek ready to cross over the Agua Fria River, although everything seemed clear to the east as far as the “Old Spanish Trail” is concerned!”

Next Conquistador Rafael comes out telling his part of the story saying, “That’s about when I stopped chasing after that War Hawk and started chasing after the river workers who were chasing after Conquistador Juan. And that’s about when I looked and glanced back noticing the arrastra workers chasing them wearing green war paints, although Conquistador Guard Federico and Conquistador Pedro stayed back at that time. And then after that I saw the Southwest Tonto Hohokam Indian Tribe crossing the Agua Fria River heading towards the arrastras and the Spanish Quarters and mule stall. And that’s when I saw Conquistador Ernesto and Conquistador Esteban load up their ultimo cargo onto the mule train before letting them go free.”

Finally Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza wonders what happened to the mule train asking, “What happened to the mule that Conquistador Ernesto and Conquistador Esteban set free?”

Ultimately Conquistador Felipe comes forth adding his sense to the entire scheme of episodic and linear events that had taken place in their minds only moments ago saying, “No se que paso! I was too busy trying to prepare as many horses as I could so that we all could get out of there as fast as we possibly could without being killed! I think some of them panicked when the Indians came and thought that they could save as much gold as they possibly could before trying to leave the scene!”

Next Conquistador Padre thinks he remembers seeing the mule train head past the “Old Spanish Trail” and down towards the Agua Fria River bottom away from where the action saying, “I think I saw the mule train run their way down in to the Agua Fria River bottom when I was scrambling to get over to where Conquistador Pablo and Conquistador Felipe were preparing some horses, although there were to many Indians around to ride over there. But I saw the mule train head down towards the Agua Fria River where it bends around the corner of the cliffs!”

There’s no doubt that Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza figures that it’s no use to turn back now in order to try and retrieve the mule train explaining, “There’s no use trying to turn back to retrieve our mule train with those Indians all over the place!”

The Conquistador Miguel feels that the Southwest Tonto Hohokam probably have retrieved the mule train themselves considering that they have taken full control of the mining camp expressing, “I’m sure the Southwest Tonto Hohokam have already retrieved the mule train by now and there making preparation for the mining camp!”

Next the Conquistador Riguel adds a little notion to the picture wondering who the heck the other group or tribe of Indians was that joined in asking, “And who was the other tribe of Indians who joined in surrounding the place before everything started to go wrong!”

For a moment Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza thinks about it, although he has an idea of who the tribe of Indian is as he articulates, “I have a feeling that it was the Rain People who had come down from the cliff dwellings of the lands of rain where many of them have settled in order to cultivate crops. There have been many related family clans between the two tribes traveling back and forth conjuring something up for many years now!”

Finally the Conquistador Rafael has noticed a few Rain People Indians come and go here and there as he carries on with, “Yes, I can recall a few Rain People Indian clan members sneaking in and out from the top of the rock shelters up the rest of the rock face!”

Now Conquistador Tesoro De Castallanza can remember one in particular who has been seen sneaking back and forth many months apart here and there saying, “Yes, I think one of them was an Indian girl of the Rain People named Navajo Indian Girl! And that’s because I heard a few of the arrastra workers talking about her many months ago for her arrival. I just figured that they were relatives and thought nothing of it!”

The Conquistador Prophet Ramon thinks about the Rain People for a moment saying, “Maybe we should have been more careful with the Indian Nations of the north considering that they are much meaner.”

At this time a little ways back the “Witch Catcher” has caught back up to seven conquistadors who have slowed down momentarily only to rest their horses a bit. Nevertheless they realize that they can’t stop and take a break because they have to keep on the move just in case there are any more Indians besides that Indian woman who had chased them away earlier.

Once she has them all within her sight as she creeps up along another hill as they reach deeper and deeper in to Chavez Pass within the Tonto National Forest area, she slows down so that she can keep them in close view. However she remains at a distance just in case one of them was to look back and see her by chance.

Another fact of the matter is that they seem to keep turning back around a bit as though they are all paranoid to something, and of course, that something happens to be her as she hides back a great distance. Yet there are times when she is able to sort of overhear them considering they are talking normally as though nobody was around that they know of at the time.

And for some reason she feels as though she should stay back until they reach a little farther before she tries and head them off, although she has a certain place within her scheming large brain where she will cut them off at. And for other reasons, she feels as though she should just follow from a distance while observing there gestures and every move that they seem to make while riding along.

Nevertheless while walking along, she has found a few good rocks in which she has picked up in order to use in her sling shot which is one of her favorite weapons of choice. And she also has found a few excellent specimens which she finds to be great for making some chucks in which she’ll use when the time comes and the feeling is right.

Meanwhile back at the mining camp, War Hawk and Arrastra Boy have decided to look for the mule train which had been set free earlier. The mule train was set free by Conquistador Esteban and Conquistador Ernesto some time before the seven conquistadors have fled the scene, although the Southwest Tonto Hohokam hadn’t gained enough ground as of then in order to chase the mule train down.

However War Hawk and the arrastra workers remember seeing the mule train set free some time while they were rushing the arrastras from the point of the river with their green frog like war paint on. Yet they kind of overlooked that part of the adventure with all of the ruckus and commotions which were exalted earlier. Also many of the Indian children up top of the rock face had seen and watched which direction the mule train had fled to when they were frightened enough.

Immediately while thinking what direction to go such as downriver or up along by way of the “Old Spanish Trail,” War Hawk looks to Arrastra Boy and Brown Badger saying, “Well we should round up them mules; which was should we go?”

Straight forth River Badger butts in saying, “I think they headed down along the river trying to find an escape from even the “Old Spanish Trail” which headed up over the hill crest!”

Finally Water Badger is eager to get a move on as he comes in to the conversation saying to them all, “Let’s check it out!”

Quickly they leave while everybody continues on resettling the place in to what they picture it in their minds to become in the near future. Meanwhile Father Hawk who is checking out the mule stall along with Chief Tomahawk as they try to corral up a few of the mules and horses that they had won over in the battle.

Just then, Father Hawk wonders where they are going as they all leave the scene running when he asks, “Where are they all going?”

Straight away Chief Tomahawk answers him back explaining, “I overheard them talking about chasing after the mule train that was set free by Conquistador Ernesto and Conquistador Esteban!”

Thereafter a few younger Rain People and some of their Indian kids start to chase after them once they overheard just what Father Hawk and Chief Tomahawk were talking about a moment ago. However then they seem to stick their attentions back to what they were doing as far as reworking the mule stall and horse coral the best that they possibly can in the meantime. Many of the other children of Southwest Tonto Hohokam remain up on top of the crest of the rock face. They stay there watching and acting as a look out where they can see the whole entire valley enjoying the views that now have the feeling of freedom along to go with it.

In the intervening time the Woman of Heaven is continuing on with her tight grip on the seven conquistadors. She continues on their tail as they flee their way east towards the Atlantic Ocean. So far the “Old Spanish Train” offers them a retreat along one of its easiest paths along its way towards the area which is now known as the Galveston Bay which is part of the state of Texas, although there are going to be some areas of the “Old Spanish Trail” within the ranges of the Mogollon Rim which will be much harder to cross through in many more days to come.

Of course, back in those days around the time of Jesus Christ they would have maybe had some other names for the Galveston Bay, although there could be many. Soon the Woman of Heaven has decided that she only needs to wait about another ten to twelve miles or so before she reaches the point where she should have cut them all off by then.

Nevertheless she remains as quiet and aloof as she possibly can while maintaining her distance from them all as they all seems to continue on with their glances back and forth. So far she feels as though they must have thought that they out ran or perhaps maybe. Or perhaps maybe they even outwitted her with their gift such as the “Weight of a Talent” which was the polished and shined garnet that the Conquistador Prophet Ramon had flung back earlier.

Furthermore she had to stop considering that she had many jumping cactus thorns stuck in her shoes which were starting to bother her along the way. And she also stuck her mentality and kept her strategies along with the fact that she had plans of cutting them all off at a certain point in time where there are some features that stick out to her within her mind’s eye.

Many of the sights she has thought and pictures with her extra sensory perception are part of the Religious Mountains and Sacred Paradigms that have kept the spirits of their gods and beliefs alive on a spiritual level. And not to leave out the fact that most of the lands she has visited along this journey are considered especially traditional as well as cultural to their Indigenous ways of life.
