Shortbread Cookies

Made in Cindy's Kitchen, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard" ~ Recipe Courtesy of my Sister, Donna Marie.

Sift together:

1/2 cup Cornstarch

1/2 cup Icing Sugar

1 cup Flour

Blend in with Pastry Cutter, or two knives, and mix until soft smooth dough forms:

3/4 cup butter or margarine (or a tad more if too dry once mixed)

Press & cut out, or shape into balls pressing with a fork, decorating as you like. Bake in a pre-heated 300*F oven for 20-25 minutes (depending on the oven).
